Olivier is the master of masters, no question ...
Wow, Olivier, this is your bést improvisation éver! Gave me goosepimples......This organ is the most beautiful one in the entire world! Thank you Vincent for your pérfect rendering of this event! Adri from Holland.
What a performance on one of the great organs of the world. His combination of stops and the pedal work truly proves the organ is the king of instruments. Why not use all the resources of the organ.
@GuillaumeDeslandres Fair enough dear William, yet the organ very well has the quality of both scaring the hell out of people (children included) and soothing its listeners and upheaving their souls to higher spheres ... I have to agree that this improvisation of Olivier may be scaring at the beginning, however all is well that ends well ... I suppose Olivier considered the underlying text worthy of a scary intro ;-)
@@wouterattheorgan Thank you Wouter for commenting on my rather blunt comments. What I am really trying to understand is that if one equates harmony to something one likes to listen to then the disharmony in Latry' s improvisation is surely something that one dislikes.

What an awful noise. That poor organ! Give me Bach any day.
not everything on organ has to be bach, an improvisation is something that isnt always as harmonically correct as bach.

@@AD-yp4ky Harmony is its own concept and doesn't have anything to do with what one likes.
Poor guy...
Stupid guy.
