I remember watching Aaron Slight and Wayne Clark win the 87 NZ 6 hour on one of these and always wanted one. Found one for sale here in NZ a few months ago and bought it as my next project, having just about finished a full refurbishment of my old 86 GSX-R1100. Its well used and i paid a bit too much for it, but the worst part is when it was delivered, the "mint bodywork" that was a selling point turned out to be glass fibre race fairing, with none of the ducting and infills that the originals have. Ebay has been a big help but decent bits for these 87/88s are a bit thin on the ground. Still i'm sure patience will be rewarded. :-)
