I am i gm mechanic and did one of these today... they definatly suck but you can do it without removing the intake ... just remove the high pressure fuel pump metal cover and insulator and you can do it from the sides... let the metal bracket lay in on the transmission dont try to fight pullin it up out of there... i did the whole housing and it calls for 3.5 hrs of labor and took me 1.7 or so ... very hard to clean the mating surfaces

Hey do you know how I can remove the bank one fuel rail for my v6? I have a cylinder one misfire and need to replace the fuel injector. The front engine block is preventing me from accessing the fuel rail. Please help. Thanks.

My 2011 RS Camaro is leaking water, I can see it underneath but can’t see anything in the engine compartment? Could this be the problem? Thanks!!

Alldata claims it's a 1 hour job. I have one in my shop that the heater is only blowing 80 degrees and I suspect the thermostat. But I'm going to pass on this nightmare.

I got a Mastercool 22 pc cooking system tester from AutoZone under their loaner tool program, and used the universal fitting to pressurize it to about 5psi, and saw the leaking at the rear passenger side of the engine. The video at 1:25 actually shows a clear picture. I couldn't see it as clearly from the top, not sure if the video was taken from a different angle. Manual says a few things need to be removed before getting access to the heater pipe assembly.

Housing has 2 10mm, pipe hose has 1 13mm, and there's 1 15mm on the inside corner toward back(make sure you remove this one!). Removing 13mm allows you to remove housing without having to remove the whole piping which is a Tetris puzzle.
