Whaoh! This duet was surely crrrrazy. I love this duo to bits. William Bell was so fantastic and Joss Stone was absolutely brilliant. This's what I call beautiful music, lyrically soulful and marvelously delivered.
Saw this half an hour past midnight on New Year's day - and I knew I wouldn't hear anything better than this in 2015. It brings tears to my eyes every time I see it. William's 'Coming Back for More' is one of my favourite albums ever - and he still sounds great. As for Joss, the look of sheer joy on her face in the last few moments sums up just how much she 'gets' and loves soul music. My - can she sing! Just a beautiful performance by the two of them.
This performance really takes off at the end, wonderful. Despite that, I still like the duet with Sharleen and Texas in 2000 best. What a gift this song has been over the decades!
Although the William Bell & Judy Clay version has been a classic all these years, Joss Stone certainly adds some serious soul to this particular take on the number. For me, it was definitely the best track of this year's Hootenanny.
Fantastic version. I love Texas but Joss knocks their version with William into a cocked hat! Pure blue eyed soul from Joss, and William is as brilliant as ever.
Even at 75 William Bell sounds great. Brilliant duet with Joss Stone. Superb music on this show that night.
