- Minecraft: EASY WOOD FARM! (1.21 Tutorial)
Today we're gonna build a new 1.21 wood farm using auto crafters that gives a lot of wood and wood planks! I hope you guys enjoy it!
Welcome to this EASY WOOD FARM tutorial in Minecraft 1.21! In this step-by-step guide, you'll learn how to construct a highly efficient wood bamboo farm that allows you to quickly gather tons of wood, wood planks and bamboo, in Minecraft. This is a wood farm, that gives you planks bamboo and wood. The best part is that you can build this farm in survival mode, making it accessible to all players.

Just use mud (no dirt) and hoppers. It’s way easier and you can easily stack multiple farms
thank you, this one is going to help a lot
how do i stack them?
@@lorty2273 you can build it like this:
1. Hopper
2. mud
3. random block
4. piston
5. observer
Repeat
Make sure to put a block behind the pistons and place redstone ontop.
@@L.L.K. i didnt understood could u explain
Hi @L.L.K. Could you make a small video about that and paste the link? Thanks!
Isn't this WAY too complicated? Just put an observer on top of a piston so the observer triggers when the bamboo reaches 3 height and the piston cuts it at 2 height, use mud with just a hopper, no rails. Waaaay simpler, exactly as effective. Build this 20 long and stack it four farms high for decent production rate.
That requires 1 hopper per square, using a minecart hopper uses way less iron
Bro what???@@iamzsdawgy
@@Zvxers7 if you have 20 squares of bamboo thats 20 hoppers or 100 iron. Instead use a hopper minecart (10 iron) another hopper (5 iron) and rails (16 squares of rails plus 4 powered ones would be 6 iron. Even still making two batches of rails is 12 iron.)
So 100 iron for hoppers on every block versus 27 iron for two hoppers, minecart and rails. Plus finding one abandoned mineshaft makes this just 15 iron for the hoppers and minecart.
Also keep in mind that in the first case the hoppers are variable, so the more you scale it up the more hoppers you will need. However, you would only ever need to craft a hopper minecart once per layer, so you can easily expand to 30 or 40 blocks and only need more rails.
Man, he does farm tutorials since years, do you think he doesn't know it?? He's just showing something different... The objective here is not to have the bamboo itself but already crafted planks
@@iamzsdawgy just make an iron farm first my guy, if you're scared of that many hoppers you don't even want to look at sorting systems
For anyone having trouble with the last dropper not spitting item in the chest. Try putting target block instead of building block next to the last repeater he put in the video (above the observer block). Mine had a problem with that last repeater not activating. Nice video
the one right next to the hopper righty?
what timestamp
Bamboo is a great plant! Also thanks for the wood farm tutorial!
Finnaly, I was waiting for wood farm thanks voltrox ❤
It works. I had the problem that the crafter didn't drop the wood into the dropper/ chest. Problem was that the comparator was not activated properly. Follow just as the video says, the thing works. Also. Make sure your first crafter doesn't get too many blocks. When filled all 9 spaces with 64 bamboo each, the whole system stops. Make sure there's no other block inside the system as well, this also happened to me.
Great video.
bro u save my life, this also happen to me
@@dinotaco3579 Glad I could help someone
If you don’t mind, how do you activate the comparator correctly because I’ve tried multiple different angles and settings but it just doesn’t get power
Will it resume automatically if I take out the bamboo blocks out of the chest
So it doesn't work bc in the crafter area is full / surrounded by blocks?
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH! FINALLY YOUR FARM WORKED PROPERLY !!!!
Next Please make a tutorial on gold farm in 1.21 because the previous 1.20 doesn't work anymore.
Watch ianxofour, his gold farm is a really good, fully afkable but can use looting sword to get more gold
But my old gold farm still working 😅😅
just build ilmangos gold farm and search for a item sorter since it will be necesarry for this farm
i fixed the farm if yall need to know how to fix it i can show yall its not hard at all
i built ianxofour's farm today, took like 30 minutes and its really quick
Very good tutorial, mate!
bamboom you just saved my life i play on a server where dupers for example string dupers dont work but i wanted to get a automated farm that gives me emeralds in return for it and this works perfectly
Nice! I'm going to try and build several modules of this farm with mud and hoppers and connect to different crafting stations in my base.
nice and simple, thanks for the BAMBOO farm!
I’m glad your still uploading 👍
Great tutorial on an equally great bamboo farm! ❤
dang he's finally back
If anyone is having issues with the first crafter spitting out bamboo blocks instead of putting it into the second crafter, make sure the upright crafter', output is FACING the second crafter. Just troubleshoot this for a while and figured it out
which way is the output? The top? The red grid side?
@@greasysquirrel79it’s the open mouth looking side, not the red grid
Nice farm. :) Also bamboo ;-)
Works great thanks 👍
Wood farm? Good, i need one! ❤🎉 Bamboo
Thanks for the tuto!
Nice wood farm! bamboo
The absolute legeend farm tutorial-er IS BACK!!! AND ITS AN INSANE WOOD FARM WWWW LOVE THIS GUY
works great thanks!
Bamboo!!? Wow i love BAMBOO. THX FOR THE FARM
bamBOO!!!!!! XD hehe thank you for the tutorial!
bro don't do this, I almost had a heart attack from the scare, my goodness

bamboo - thanks for the awesome deisgn!
thanks bro can you make a slime farm and bamboo
dang this BAMBOO farm is reallyyy great!
LET’S GOOOOOOO
i did some quick math and i think the rate is 22.75 stacks of bamboo planks per hour
I am not getting anywhere near that
@@Gerry360o not even close
Yo need to do slow math then
nice bamboo farm
Bamboooooooo
(thanks for the tutorial !!!)
Damn, im literally bamboozled by this farm ;D
.
Translation (to people only understand one language):
There is another way to do this more easily, simply a redstone circuit with repeating pistons and a large-scale floor-shaped structure. The pistons break the bamboo and throw it into hoppers, which transport it to chests.
.
I used a similar structure to connect it as a power source for an automatic industrial furnace.
Nice video
Nice tree farm and BAMBOO!
bamboo!!!
Thanks
That's pretty neat
great vid
Thanks a lot for this farm. Could you please make a tutorial for an acacia wood farm too? That would be super helpful. 😊
its not possible without tnt duping. and accacia is very irregular...
@@mineadam328 ofc tnt duper is required.... everyone knows that...there is no need to specify it.
ya but is this possible with tnt farm or sth? like to turn it on for the x tnt amount? bc its not entirely fair TO ME. its partly like duping items...
Easy fast and perfect ❤
how much it produces per hour?
Bambooo🎉
Does anyone know what this hopper does Lol? at 5:54
For everyone who is not working and the rails and hopper gets stuck passing his on bamboo, use the mud instead of the grass.
Bamboo ❤
Nice design, though you don’t actually need a comparator facing out from the bamboo block crafter. You can just power it every tick
how?
Am I the only one watching it because I enjoy the idea, but will never do it? I don't like redstone, it's too much complicated xD I play minacreft bc I wanna relax and explore. But you do an amazing job here!
Spent all this time to learn at 7:40 this isn’t the wood farm I’m looking for.
just wondering but how far away can you be to this farm for it to operate?
Best bamboo farm ive seen in a while 🗣️🔥
I comment bamboo because I saw it!!!!🎉🎉🎉
it's very usefull !!!
TYSM 😋😋
bamboo noice😅😋
5:01 I want to build this but am missing the sticky piston, because I had no luck in slimes until now. Is there an alternative for the observer clock?
DO ALL OF UR FARMS WORK ON BEDROCK???
does it work on java too? i just build it on java and only at the end i look and see that it is on bedrock, pls tell me its java too
Good video, but all I ask is to start with with an item amount image so we know what we need 🙏
0:05
Is it will work on bedrock
Bamboo!
Nice tutorial btw
a parts list would be helpful so I don't have to keep asking my friend to make more observers for me
It works, but if you’re making this don’t expect anything crazy. I find the rates to be about ONE WOOD PLANK PER MIN.
In simpler terms: 1 hour of afk for one stack
Might aswell mine spruce logs. 7 minutes 7 stacks logs 😅
@@Broken_Eraser fr
01:01 bamboo
No heart
@@anshulsingh8326 lol
is it only planks? and is it bamboo?
bambooo :3
My dropper section doesn’t work I made it exactly how he did in the video but it doesn’t spit into the other it just stays in the bottom one (4:56)
bamboo
I am still here btw
I did exactly what this video said and the pistons never fire on one side of the farm.
EDIT: Got both sides working, been AFT for 8 hours and got 8 stacks. Could have got this much in 2 minutes of chopping trees....
How much per hour?
Is this for Java or bedrock or will it work on both?
it'll work for java as well, I built it myself in java and it works fine
5 minutes ago lol we need a collab with oink oink like a 100 farm video or something
Just a fair warning to anyone who uses it bc of the boxy shape of the farm it is quite an eyesore so maybe put it somewhere a lil out of the way to avoid having to stare at it all the time 😂
Bamboo... why do we like it so much?
bro some bamboo please❤,(saw in the video)when you placed all the dirt on the ground❤❤❤
bamboo 1:02
Is this faster than the kelp to bamboo one?
I have 10 layers on that farm btw
Nobody talking about 3 hoes stacked uh?
There is a part which the observer was really hard to put in 6:34
BAMBOO
thank u for ♥
Im having trouble placing the observer the right way right around 6:23
Same how dis u fix it
whats the production rate
In my most humble opinion the design of the farm looks cool, cant deny that, but you made this farm way too expensive, for exemple the observers on top of the farm watching the bamboo i do believe that you could use just one, but 2, one on each side its enough to trigger all the pistons of the farm, the rest of the redstone you used i cannot say anything about it because you are using autocrafters so yeah cant talk to much about that, apart from that cool farm bro and keep up with the good work
Not his design but I agree, it's WAYYYY too over engineered lol
Oh yeah just thought about it pistons get activated from redstone you only need 1 observer
If your pistons aren't working, go to the top of the farm where you placed the redstone dust and just connect the redstone dust at the back down those gaps. It should work then
ALSO if your crafters keep spitting out the blocks, make sure your crafters are EXACTLY the same as the ones in the video. I made the mistake and now it works. Also, don't use grass. Use mud! You're welcome :)
Bamboo 😊
It's not dropping the wood planks into the chest ??
Can you make a wood farm but with logs??
You can't, unless you want a tnt duping, bone meal powered farm where you have to sit and spam saplings, in that case there's plenty of designs online already.
will this work for bedrock?
bamboo!
Does it work with normal tree or only bamboo
only bamboo
Bamboo hive me heart
6:37
I was on this point and a creeper blowup half of my farm
When i was fixing it another one blowup...
bamboo❤❤❤
Does it works in underground ?
trees might grow a little slower but it’ll probably still work
@@portalguy1432 ok ty
My only problem is that the last droppernt spitting anything out but it just stays in there so what do i do ,?
wdym?
bamboo :D
do i have to use glowstone?
yoo bamboo
Hi my dropper column doesn't work, the bamboo is drop on the left, not on the top. An idea plz ?
Bamboo i saw that... 😅
