LOVE LOVE this podcast. "Go towards the pain, I promise you on the other side is FREEDOM!" Not the easiest thing to do - anything worth it - takes guts and glory follows. Thank you Emily and Dr. Letchford.

After watching Blu, I said this is my favorite episode. After watching Marcus, I said this is my favorite episode. After watching Liz, I said this is my favorite episode. I think they are all my favorite episode(s)!
This one was especially special and led to an hour long discussion with my partner. Liz's story about her relationship with her legs was incredibly powerful and is now leading me to reflect on body parts/areas of my body where I hold various emotions and instead of trying to ''massage'' them away, trying to sit back with and listen to them. In a world where ice cream and social media provides us with never-ending dopamine kicks, this sense of listening to the body and truly de-stressing the nervous system has been put to the side. Liz's wisdom is definitely a step for me in listening. Really grateful for this episode!

Freeze stage/disassociating = trauma response - it's so obvious, but yet, not something we think of in our daily lives. This is exactly my topic at this stage of my journey - so I thank you both for opening up this space and addressing these stages we all experience in one way or the other.... .grounding my body and coming back to all areas of my body when I feel anxious/nervous etc. I LOVE THAT!!!! Block to embodiment = FEAR! Thanks so much for sharing and for spreading this wisdom! XX, Claudia

Great discussion! I thought it was really interesting hearing about the brain, body connection and two-way communication between the body and the brain. Also, very interesting to know that we are fully embodied when the brain and body are talking to each other and fear is a blocker.

Feel the pain again consciously, feel the pain and moving through it not only overcome the pain but I can find happiness in the other side. Our bodies have the power to heal their selves, if we allow ourselves to feel the pain.

Thank you this was awesome. It answered so many questions I’ve had about fascia and more.
So much of what was spoken of here has been my recent journey and I’ve spontaneously been doing much of what was shared tho I didn’t know why my intuition, my higher knowing was leading me to do these things. The spiral unwrapping for example, that only started a few weeks ago, I didn’t know what that was til you uncovered it.
Your conversation reassures me I’m flowing in the right direction with this.
I’ve been truly meeting the pain, going to the depths and finding the pleasure. And I know more than ever before, I’ve got this.
    Thank you ❤️😘❤️

Makes me curious to explore more ways to “be truly embodied”. I’ve been doing the z technique for about a month now and I love that time to sit and be still which has been a good way to start ❤

This is definitely a big eye opening episode for me. Being an actor I feel I am already so aware of my body and the things it does and how I feel, but then being able to feel the pain fully. I already “like it rough” but I had no idea it was healing! Thank you so much! I’m obsessed with the woman!

Lots to absorb and take away in this riveting episode with Dr. Letchford. Become fully embodied she tells us. “When we’re able to be truly embodied then our intuitive gifts come online”. So good. So rich. Such a great conversation Emily has with the Dr. I highly recommend this podcast! All thumbs up ;)

This episode really resonated with me as I’m becoming much more attuned to listening to my body. The idea of exploring food frequencies as a healing modality is something I will be integrating into my healthy treats business so I was fascinated to hear about Liz and Emily’s experiences benefiting from medicinal plants in India!

Can we heal the pain just by feeling it, even if we cant figure out the "message"/meaning behind the pain? I always feel like im just making guesses to why it is there and i get frustrated that body is using language i cant interpret
