- Kathryn Kuhlman traveled extensively around the United States and in many other countries holding "healing crusades" between the 1940s and 1970s. She was one of the most well known healing ministers in the world. Kuhlman had a weekly TV program in the 1960s and 1970s called I Believe In Miracles that was aired nationally. She also had a 30-minute nationwide radio ministry of teaching from the Bible and, frequently, would feature excerpts from her healing services (both music and message).The foundation was established in 1954, and its Canadian branch in 1970. Towards her latter years she was supportive of the nascent Jesus movement, a spread of interest in Jesus among young teens formerly associated with drugs and the counter-culture.

The smell of funeral flowers is of the devil. I smelled it at every hawaiian native passing. They didn't believe in God. The devil came to take their souls.....the devil is a liar and there are so many wierdos speaking the name of Jesus. 🙄👀
Look at the videos of Black and White Christians in the old "Jim Crow" days...does anyone ever mention how the "racism" was solved by King Jesus and His People? Remember Asuza Street?...led by an ex-slave and mighty miracles were done. People would walk by and literally see flames on top of the building, they wondered if they should call the Fire Dept!!!
I can testify the Power of God was working through her. My grandmother took me to one of her services when I was very young and I was healed of a bad case of eczema. Within 3 days my open sores disappeared. Another time my father & uncle took my mother with a bad back. My uncle, who was an atheist at the time said, all I know is... she couldnt walk in but she walked out.

My father took me to see Kathryn Kuhlman in Columbus Ohio several times when I was a young child. I remember walking into the auditorium for the first time when I was about seven years old. I felt as if I was walking on air, my feet didn’t even seem to be touching the floor. It was the first time I felt the undeniable presence of God. This was a hours before Miss Kuhlman even came onto the stage. HE was there, and it forever changed my life!!

Sometimes, we think marriage is the basis of every ministry to have a breakthrough, but end up harming our ministries. If God calls you as a single lady, some times it is for you to serve him wholly. I have seen strong ministers of God who were brought down through marriage. Thank God she realized herself on time.
As a little girl my grandma took me to attend Miss Kuhlman's services every friday at Carnagie Hall in Pittsburgh. I saw many miracles. I will never forget!!

I went to many of Miss Kuhlman's friday 'miracle services and her Wednesday (?) bible studies in the North Side (Pgh) Carnegie Auditorium. Also, her Easter Services in the Oakland Carnegie Hall, and her Steubenville, Ohio sunday services in Stambaugh Auditorium. This was during the mid sixties until the early 70's. Loved her child like persona and her genuine love that permeated her being. Never met anyone as Godly as Miss Kuhlman. I'll always cherish those memories . God Bless you Miss Kuhlman for all that you did to sooth the hurt and pain of life, for myself and others. Thank you Lord for bringing this wonderful woman into my life.

I was around ten years old, when my parents took me to see Kathryn Kuhlman at the Shrine Auditorium. The Spirit of God was so strong, that when I walked through the doors, I began to weep. I did not need a healing, but the experience solidified my faith in Jesus. The bible says, "for where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them." Matthew 18:20. When you have thousands of people with faith gathered, the Holy Ghost is tangible. Like the old saying, "it was so thick, you could cut it with a knife." That was how I felt as a young child. Tears pouring down my face to the strains of "He touched me" chiming through the auditorium. Jesus is real, and He wants to touch your life and your heart, and give you your desires.

Wow! With all the experiences and feeling the spirit, who needs the Word? Huh. I never thought of that. What is that Bible passage? Is it faith comes by experiencing and feeling? No, jo that's not it. Hmmm, oh yes, "faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ." That's the one. Be careful when people are talking about God, but never preach the actual gospel. Alice, Believing with you for your eyesight. Assuming you see just not as good as you should... Toxins in our body causes our eyesight to not be as clear. Detoxing poisons can help! And what that can't help, God certainly can do the rest.
Make sure you have no artificial attachments like artificial hair, nails, make ups and wearing pants ,all these things are abomination to God, Read Deut 22:5,1st Timothy 2:9 and also repentance is compulsory for us Christians, many do not believe in what I have just mentioned above but Jesus is not pleased with His daughters applying artificial things on ourselves, but He loves us dearly that's why I'm telling you this Mum. I went to one of her rallies in Providence RI, second week of July, 1975. I saw with my own eyes miracles that defied explanation. I went outside with my friend and I saw someone praying over a young blind girl and she got her sight back. I used to see her on TV and bought all of her books. I am glad she is being brought back in the light.
Blind lady received sight? Wow...which other miracles did you witness?
It seems the Holy Spirit followed her in a special way and confirmed her ministry by many of these miracles. Of course she never took credit for any of them.

From a protestant background I walked into a Charismatic church at 19 year’s with young people praising Jesus I come onder the conviction of sin. The next night of this meetings the Holy Spirit filled everyone and we all fell down and speaking in tongues.
Years later i read all Catherine’s books.
And that was a conformation for me.
Hallelujah. She is still my inspiration.
She was so transparent - and totally dependent upon her Lord as it should be.

I went and saw her in 1974 and feel so blessed.......I was up on the stage and she touched me with the Power of the Holy Spirit; also heard angels sing on the bus on the way back to Ottawa.....she was phenomenal! God uses her as a vessel to heal!

Be careful when folks put a lot of emphasis on the Holy Ghost. The Spirit can be faked. So the bible says to try ( test) the spirits. The Holy Spirit will ALWAYS lead you to see what God said on any matter in the bible. You gotta watch people who said God told me this and God told me that. The Holy Ghost told me this. If anyone says that they are liars. A true preacher will be a man to start with. And he will speak what the King James Bible says. He will take you to the word of God EVERY TIME. The Holy Ghost does not talk about himself. He talks and brags about Jesus and about the word of God.
This was a great tribute to a yielding vessel……..never claimed the glory……I love that woman…Thanks to her obedience my dad who has gone to glory, remained a believer till his last breath. He was a brand new Christian at the age of 40 in 1970 after having gone through a devastating divorce. We went to a meeting in L.A. and were sitting at the top of the seating when Kathryn called out and explained about the asthma he had since childhood. She explained everything about him short of his name. Indeed from that minute onward he never had asthma again…God is Great

+Janet. Listen to quadriplegic Joni Earecson Tada's testimony at the Strange Fire conference, titled "A Deeper Healing." She WENT to a Kuhlnan healing service, where she was seated with other cripples. NONE of them were healed -- NONE. There was ANOTHER section set off from hers, where people were "healed" and got out of their wheelchairs, etc., but she and all the other cripples went home STILL CRIPPLED. Ugh.

You can see the joy, peace and love in her smile (The Holy Spirit) In Galatians 5:22-23 Paul lists nine specific behaviors - love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control - that are the result of the work of the Holy Spirit in a Christian’s life.🙏🏽❤️

I think that...Benny Hinn .... was mesmerised by the humility of Kathryn's ministry. He was amazed that she didn't take any credit for the assistance in miracles.

bobbyseals007 - Her husband wasn’t concerned with the feelings of the wife he left and divorced (my Grandma) or his 2 little sons (my Dad, Burroughs Waltrip Jr, was 8 years old) he deserted so he could be with KK. My Grandma was a loving Christian woman, she remained a good and faithful servant all her 90 years...which I truly believe included forgiving her husband (my grandfather) and KK. God bless them all, especially the 2 little boys who never saw their dad again.
@@bobbyseals007 Even God's anointed makes mistakes. Did you watch the video? The whole marriage was a mistake. She knows it is not right to marry that man as he could hinder her from her ministry but she did. Her husband wouldn't let her preach that clearly is work of the enemy. She felt sorry for not listening to God and humbled herself in front of God. After receiving God's forgiveness, she bravely faced the consequences and became a faithful servant. A mistake done cannot hinder God's will that's why God's anointed continues to work for God's people.
You know what's more shaming? When a Christian judges a brother/sister in Christ.

I love her ministry! Her ministry saved me. I started watching her before my husband passed away in 2020 and still to this day... her words have changed my life and she has saved me. I'm thankful for her life, her ministry and her legacy!

I traveled to one of her meetings when I was in my 20's. Amazing feeling of the presence of God in the auditorium. So glad I was able to attend.

I traveled to one of her meetings in Birmingham, Alabama, in 1971. People arrived in buses. Some were on stretchers, some in wheelchairs. They all left the same way they came.

I need to be more like Him too..but I've come to an impasse and I can only hope He will do it. I went on a fairly long fast years ago to seek to be used in healings. I was about half way through the fast and it was tough. I was unwell but i stuck with it and I heard the voice of the Lord, so loud and clear it might have been audible, though I don't believe it was. He said, "It is more important to be like Jesus than to do the works that He did."

As in the days of Jesus, the days of Kathryn, 'God's handmaid' as she liked to be called...were noteworthy & memorable. The blind see, the deaf hear, the lame walk, and the poor have the good news preached to them...when God is at work through his chosen vessels.

Amen! You just don’t know how impactful this video is on me. I grew up watching Kathryn and I wanted more than anything to be just like her. But then life happened. I was 10 years old and found out some really terrible things about my parents and it made me so angry and I became so bitter. I knew and loved Jesus but this anger and bitterness just compromised me.
now I am single again and my children are all grown up and I find that I’m secretly wanting to explore my relationship with Jesus and what might be left of my calling. But I’ve lived a rather unusual life and I know from my church experiences that some of the cruelest people have been Christians.
I never knew growing up that Kathryn had been married and divorced. in a way I’m so glad. It makes her more like me and gives me hope that I could be like her.
by like her, I mean giving my life and heart over to Jesus and the Holy Spirit the way that she did. I’ve been in the wilderness for 40 years believing that God was to blame for the evil that my parents did and for giving Me those kinds of parents. I’ve just started to understand the power of the evil one and that Jesus has done everything possible to save us and heal us and make a way for us. it’s not God‘s fault that my parents were so awful.
God's grace is not confined by time. I pray for a great restoration in your life. May God do only that He can do in your life.

@@MillyRose539 Much as I love and respect Kathryn, I don't agree exactly with that statement. There is an element of God's providence in the giving of His gifts. Scripture states plainly that "to each one the gift is given, according to the will of the Spirit." Not every Believer can nor should have the exact gifting that Kathryn had.

Katherine's price was total devotion to God which meant no spouse, children, career, vacations, and on on. Those things are "good", but to travel in such an anointing, they'd have to pretty much go.

I was so fortunate the Lord baptized me in the Holy Spirit when I was only eight-years-old on a Sunday night at church after dad had preached a Sunday night service. Next weekend I was made fun of me for how I had reacted during the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I didn’t care at all I just remember it. There is a cost to paid, and it takes time to understand the Love and the ways the Spirit works in a life. A person can not put the Holy Spirit in a box. He works how He works.

When I was a child, my mother read me Kathryn Kuhlman’s Autobiography as my bedtime story.
I have the same (root) first name and now as a married woman have a last name that sounds like Kuhlman, just spelled differently.

In a Retrospective View, like a Movie-Reel Playing, I remember so clearly the time when my dad, and I attended a Kathryn Kuhlman's meeting at the Shrine Auditorium, which transpired in the 60's. My dad pulled into a parking space that was available at the parking facility, directly across the street from the Shrine Auditorium. We crossed the street, and entered into the Auditorium, walking down the aisle to two seats in close proximity to the stage...centered. I watched Ms.Kuhlman, so intently, as she entered on stage wearing a white dress, with bell sleeves, flowing. After sharing words, she commenced to call forth healing miracles. Of course, she had nothing to do with the healing, it was a Manifestation of God, and she was certain to make those in attendance aware of that. Many additional events transpired, of great significant spiritual value, as a result of attending this meeting. It reminds me of the Scripture in God's Word: "For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:" (ISAIAH 28:10 Jimmy Swaggart Expositor's Study Bible). Ms. Kuhlman's life is a Living Testimony, still encouraging many, even though she has gone on to her Reward in Heaven! God Does Not Throw People Away! God's Mercies are Renewed Each Morning! We Just have to be steadfast in Keeping our Faith Anchored in Jesus, and His Completed Work at the Cross of Calvary, and then, the Holy Spirit Will Perform His Office Work in our lives...Making us More Christlike Each, and Everyday!

I have always heard about Kathryn Kuhlman when I first got saved, because my Pastor would talk about Benny Hinn and the great healing miracles. I loved seeing miracles too and I was more drawn to Benny Hinn's ministry for some reason.
Today I was online looking for God's provision and felt led to watch another video with Kathryn talking about being filled with the Holy Spirit and then I ended up here

I agree with Kathryn Kuhlman, when you're born again there's a definite place, a definite time and you know it. Not long ago I asked a relative who had been into Christianity for many years, "When were you born again?" I thought I was going to hear about a church service, a moment in prayer, reading some scripture, etc. Instead he shocked me with, "It was a gradual thing, over time."
It is gradual for some. Because at 1st they just want benefits. But gradually as we make God our God and give up control and build trust, we become born again. We gradually become new. For me, there was a day of brokenness though, where I said, I give up doing things my way.
Came across this woman when I was looking for great woman of God, also went further looking for Holy spirit sermons , she was still in my suggested list. Lord you know why. I'm blessed. And it's an honor to know more about her with this video. Thank you sir

In 1972 my dad took his mom who had an unexplainable illness and was told she wouldnt live long to see Kuhlman. My dad's mom and him were not believers in Christ at this time, my dad was a tough guy and was skeptical. They walked in and were towards the back and watching and listening. Then kuhlman said someone in back row is healed right now and my dad's mom fell to the floor but wasn't hurt at all. When he went to pick her up she fell again. When my dad saw this his hands went up in the air praising to a Jesus he didn't know yet. But unfortunately when she went home and told my grandpa she was healed he made fun of her saying yeah right your not healed by no Jesus wacko. And He wouldn't let her here the end of it each day. So she cried out to God and said lord please take me. Few months later she died. My dad loved his mom so much and it hurt him for along time because of his dad's treatment towards his mom. When my dad's dad was on his death bed he received Jesus and admitted he was wrong for what he did to his wife. I remember asking my dad did grandpa even love your mom cause why would He treat her like that. My dad said yes and didn't you see he never dated or remarried after her death.

My Lady, I just love her Even though she died when I was a baby. Amazing testimony, the Faithfulness of God displayed in a woman who made herself available to God's need. It is our turn to give ourselves into Him. Are you in?

I read a book about Kathryn Kuhlman years ago, but this video has not only added to my knowledge of her, it has also corrected and filled in information that I had received from the book I read. I loved the segments of video, and agree completely that one's experiences with the Holy Spirit are not quite able to be explained by any human language- we can only share God's love and try to describe what has happened! This was a wonderful inspiration- thank you for sharing this on TH-cam.
