i believe you made a smaller error in finding the area of the first problem which consist of the radium being 3 inches, because if i followed the formula correctly 3 squared equal 9 , then multiplied by 3.14 gives you 28.26 not 28.27.
I noticed the same thing I was replaying the video a bunch of times scratching my head trying to figure out how he got 28.27 I got 28.26 and even typed it in the calculator and got the same answer..
@@Malik-mx8st I had the same issue, but if you use the pie symbol on your calculator instead of using 3.14 you'll see how we rounded to get 28.27. You may have to switch from a basic calculator mode to scientific if you're using the one on your computer.
Im getting no 28. Anything out of this and im using a calculator on an iphone. Simplified this problem is…3.14 aka pie, times 3, 3 being the radius multiplied with pie gives you 9.42477796, squaring that to itself makes it 88.8264396, all of the multiples in this number are multiples of pie.
Rn I’m on. A zoom and I was so confused about the thing we had been learning for months cuz my notes were ruined! I am doing an assignment and this is SO helpful Thx so much
Thank you Mr. J. This is a big help. One thing I have a question about is, why did you round to the hundreths place ? Is this a rule when finding the area of a circle?
Hello thank you so much for posting this video!! It helps a lot of students like me who didn't understand what the teacher explained or forgot how to solve it !! Ty so much for posting this its a lot of help!❤
Thank. U so much for this, my 7th grade math teacher DOES NOT know that we JUST came out of 6th and we need to deep defitions about certain things especially the kids in my class so thank u so much for teaching this to me
Thank you for the video, actually for all of your videos. I have a question though. Why is the answer to the third circle in cm, not feet when the radius is 4ft? Please clear up this confusion for me.
Hi sir... i love your videos i easilly start to understand my work that i thought was impossible. I am preparing for my exams and this video helped me alot!!! My point is .... thank you 😊
Tysssssm I've been struggling with this because my teachers taught it online and I was clueless and when I watched this the first time I still didn't know what to do but I watched it again and my brain was like ah yes I see it now 😂 😅 ty again ✨
Great video but it might help to explain that they should do 3 squared before multiplying by pi. many students mess this up, especially with a pi button.
In problem number 3, the radius is 4 and 4 squared time 3.14 is 50.24. Why does it say 50.27 and how do we know which number to write down when taking a test?
Never thought I'd be having to learn 5th grade math all over again at 28 years old but here I am. Thanks for the videos!

in school i learnt that if a number is able to divided by 7 then it could use 22/7 is that correct or no
