Hah, you know what? I never even thought about that before, but you’re absolutely right! It’s like the kitchen equivalent of singing and playing an instrument at the same time.
For someone who not only excels at his trade but also enjoys doing it with the gusto of a thousand suns, Ainsley referring to himself as a "happy man" is such an understatement. Stay based, you glorious spicy meat rubber, you.
The fact that this show only has 6 episodes is such a shame. I would have loved seeing Ainsley going to Korea, Morocco, Colombia, and all these other countries and teaching us about that cultures cooking.
The thing I love about Ainsley when compared with other chefs is that he seems to truly enjoy his job, and that enjoyment seems to really rub off on others as well. Not only that but he also cooks dishes that aren’t super hard to make, and could be made by virtually anyone with the right ingredients.
Although Ainsley was very enjoyable to watch but i don't think that he have more character on screen than Gordon Ramsay, Ramsay is known as a tough and serious chef that insults people like there's no tomorrow but he is also a soft and lovable man when it come to his family or when he's dealing with kids, he can also became quite funny when he meet his friends or trolling his colleagues, Ainsley is a fun dude but all you ever see of him on screen is a happy and charismatic man, never anything else, so to my opinion Gordon Ramsey have much more characteristic than Ainsley but that doesn't make Ainsley any less entertaining though, no sir.

"so simple to make!" ainsley then proceeds to do a thousand different steps to make the pad thai XD
But.. it's simple.. It's indeed a simple dish.
It's simple if you have an elaborate pad-thai assembly line set up in your open aired market kitchen complete with wok fires.
Chefs in the West cannot measure ingredients without a measuring cup/spoon. They have difficulty on rough estimation.
Its one of those "empty out your fridge" dishes like Pizza. You can throw almost everything in there and it would probably taste fine.
