are all those speakers passive ?
Yes, all the new Stage series speakers are passive apart from the subwoofer which is active.
Can this upmix stereo to 5.1 like dolby surround?

Are you sure putting the Sub in the corner?
A lot of people put their Subwoofers in a corner
Every room is different but we have found it works best in the corner of our showroom as this is the natural node of the room.
