Thank you both for doing this interview in English!!! Much appreciated. Andra dazzles here just as she does with trumpet, sax, or her voice. What a career for Andrea!!!

That was a great interview! Even though I've seen Andrea talking on camera many times, there was still a lot of new and interesting info there. For example, I always wondered why Joan left the public school system. And gosh, how Andrea's English has improved! She is now fully trilingual - and maybe more for all I know. I'd like to see more interviews with her, in English or Spanish, just not in Catalan. (only because I don't speak it, and I think the audience would be smaller)

I agree with Andrea Motis. the roots of jazz- traditional jazz is a wonderful idiom. When one starts with the roots, then one can explore all the beautiful branches of the jazz tree. Ms. Motis seems very grounded and intelligent. thanks for the interview and all the beautiful music.

Oh, we are so lucky that Andrea has taken this journey and continues to do so. It's always a surprise and a pleasure to catch her and her group on TH-cam. Y muchas gracias a todo.

Andrea once told me that her favorite song was Sunny side of the street. Of course, that may have changed. She's a beautiful person.

I didn’t know that she was in SAJB almost from the start. It has launched so many fine musicians as well as Andrea.

@@richardpedersen9189 I must have started watching them at an earlier stage than I realised. They were so polished even then that I thought they were from a long-established programme, not one that had only been going for a couple of years.
