The last dancing part is actually sign language that they incorporated in. After PTD released, a lot of deaf Army said how meaningful it was and how pleasantly surprised they were to see it! All-inclusive guys we have and I'm always so proud of them!

6:34 That's the sign language part you want to learn. It means "dance", "peace" and "enjoy". 😄👍
These guys flew for something like 14 hours went straight to make up, filmed it in the middle of the night and in the early hours of the morning (which also meant that there weren't other people around 😉), had a few hours rest at their hotel while the video was being edited and then went back to deliver their speech and present the video. I. Would. Be. Dead!!! 😵 I have so much respect for these guys.

so adorable lol PTD is definitely a feel good song. All their English songs like Butter and Dynamite and this one make you dance immediately. Thank you for the reaction 💜

Just wanted to let you know the UN speech/performance and the visit the White House happened at 2 different times. They spoke at the UN in the summer of 2021 and met President Biden in 2022. It was actually their first overseas trip since the pandemic started. Those ending dance moves are actually in sign language. I've seen reactions to Permission To Dance with deaf children and they were so happy to see that at the end.

This was during Covid. That's one of the reasons no one is around. Also BTS is doing sign language. Which was a first ever in Kpop. So proud of BTS.

I knew that BTS had spoken at the United Nations but I did not know that they a performed a song there. How on earth did they get "Permission To Dance" at the U.N. ? Is there nothing they cannot do ??? They are simply amazing. Take care.

I agree with all you said. Permission To Dance is a feel good song. I want to dance every time. I don’t understand why some ARMY denigrate this song so much. This song is released at the end of the pandemic so it’s a joyful song. No need to have every time deep lyrics. And BTS have proved many times that they can do songs with deep lyrics so fun songs are good too.
    Thanks for your good reaction.💜

    Love this one!
I think they performed very early, also it was during the pandemic. Less people out I guess. And the General Assembly should be rather easy to secure?
Regarding the choreography the hand movements are sign language. (Fun, dance and peace) Just shows how inclusive they are.
