Stepney is actually based on the rebuilt Marsh A1X variant of Stepney in both the TVS and RWS. The original Stroudley A1 Stepney had wooden brake blocks, external sandboxes and smokebox wing plates unlike the A1X’s do.
2:30 that type of motor is also renowned for burning out and failing. Sam'sTrains has had this occur with other models with the same motor, even the Terrier caught on camera! Also, I can explain why your Black Five is strangely weaker than Stepney for some strange reason. When the Railroad range Black Five was first released in 1973, the motor was originally located in the tender (Ringfield-type motor) and pretty much the body of the locomotive, made completely from plastic, was purely decoration. After the 2000s, the model's motor was relocated to the engine following the release of the 'Super Detail' version in 2002. Due to this relocation, the motor now has far less weight needed and the tender, which is still slightly heavy due to its Ringfield-era tooling, acts as dead weight and greatly reduces power. Most old Hornby models with relocated motors tend to cheat with traction tyres but it looks like yours wasn't fitted with them or they came off while in motion.
For the engine I want to see next, I wouldn't mind seeing a video on that 5700 pannier tank you featured as Duck in this video. In any case, keep up the great work!
Don't wanna be that guy, the but the sandboxes were on the A1's. Stepney's form without the "winged" smokebox is the A1X with the sandboxes removed from the front splasher.
I'd love to get a Terrier loco. Even if it's just the chassis and I have to build it myself. I got a Thomas chassis, maybe I'll use that and see how it looks. If it looks good I'll try @ing Bachmann about recycling Thomas for Stephanie.
I’m so glad to see how much you love Stepney.
the fact that you aren't pinned by him is a crime
@@yeoldeseawitch I agree
I like like you were like here you go idk I have 1 million
Mm, I say this is a improvment over the pilot episode! Good Job Connor!

Nice Black 5 reference, put a smile on my face!
You got one of the facts wrong. The “A1” that you showed was actually a A1x Terrier. Apart from that good video and amazing model!

Getting a hornby Stepney is so hard to find nowadays. I always wanted a Hornby Stepney in my life.
It’s so cool to see the goat try new things, amazing work my g. 🤙

Waddon is very smol and cute engine against Big Canadian Engin'
Wow this Stepney model is awesome! You put a lot of effort into it and it paid off. Your model of D261 is also really neat
Just so you know, the A1 is original, the A1x is the rebuild. Stepney is the A1x, Waddon & Boxhill are A1.
took the words right out of my mouth, knew someone would already point it out
Duck could use some green gwr livery and the num.8 but Stepney looks cool
Awesome man! Looks absolutely beautiful! Nice job!
Another Canadian!! Dude I have seen waddon to I have been so many times to exporail
great video, stepney has also striked me with his cool look as well

1:08 well the only thing that I wanted was a Hornby Edward don't ask why
The luck you have is amazing
I wish i had you’re luck
Bluebells forever
Stepney and the hammer sitting in a tree-
Wait you're Canadian too?? HELL YEAH!
Wait your Canadian to? Canadians assemble!
Congratz on getting the model! I am very jealous ^^
This is nice.
I thought Stepney went through the A1X rebuild though.
One of the only two real life Hornby produced for their Thomas range
If only I had a Hornby Stepney. It would be nice.
Ok that hornby Emily is terrifying
Did Stepney is your favorite engine? If you are, so am i
We all would do unspeakable things for a Hornby Stepney
Here before 1K views!
You might try swapping the smoke box doors on one of them out with the stepney face (and by that I mean the new terriers)
Steppingknee's theme is like better than ratatouille.👌
Ah yes Steppingking. Not Stepney
@@transgaty2763 yes "my mind is a enigma".
That black 5 shit killed me lmaooooooo that was weak
link to music in the background?

STEPNEY STANS RISE UP
0:12 what’s the face you used for class 40 ? I just think it looks good and might try and get it
It’s a Bachmann Troublesome Truck #4 face
Stepney's Model looks like Max's model (Terrier55Stepney)....
This is great =D
*tids trains*
Tugs
🤫
Ims sorry but you are mistaken, stepney was based of the A1x rebuild of the original A1
Haha funne yello train go *bluebells forever*
Wrong way round with the classifications. The A1s had the smaller smokeboxes and wing plates.
Nice
How did you removed the sandboxes from hornby stepney?
I love him
0:25 What happened to Stepney's buffers? :3
Beautiful
I’m pretty sure a lot of people had already told you this but you got the A1x and a1 stuff mixed up
Duck’s face tho-
Did you disign the sodor fallout stepny
Stepney isnt in sodor fallout
I think he whas
@@dianakhilawan1924 Well he wasnt I've read the story
@@dianakhilawan1924 I don't think Stepney ever made an appearance in Sodor Fallout. He was at the Mainland during the time of SF.
i'm not even gonna lie, the terriers are cute
Stepney The Bluebell Engine
I wonder what those unspeakable actions would have been...
Am I the only one who thinks Stepney’s theme sounds like something from Animal Crossing-
Can we get sodor fallout's henry's story?
I really want a cheap faceless stepney. Where are they cheapest?
I got me a Brighton works terrier and I'm going to modify him to be stepney
More stepney more Stepney
I have a hornby terrier in my collection called leadenhall
Oh so u like hornby thomas stuff?
That reminds me of a story...
One time i saw a hornby dart hornby Murdoch and hornby Emily at the same shop
Who's favourite engine isn't Stepney
holy shit. step bro be stromg and slow
Weird I went there also yet I didn’t see the terrier
Why is duck black?

Hate me, Stepney is better than Edgar and Desmond
