WOW!!!!!! I will be purchasing one of these as my next camera. Currently I have the G26 Color and I love it.. Keep the Videos coming, Really enjoy them! IC443 and M51 were awesome!!!
Wow. I dont know anything about these cameras or whatever. I just put my eye up to the telescope, but those pictures are amazing! I would like to do that one day.
Your videos are the most helpful videos I’ve ever seen. You do an excellent job. Thank you for wonderful, very helpful videos which are so pleasant to watch.
You certainly can use an Ha filter, but it’s pretty inefficient on an color camera and would probably require a much longer exposure or stack of exposures to bring up the signal compared with a Mono camera. Because the Bayer Matrix over the sensor is a square pattern of RGGB, 3 of the 4 pixels in that square will have very reduced transmittance when using an Ha filter. With enough exposure and stacking it's possible to overcome this. But you would have a much easier time using a monochrome camera where 75% of the pixels don't have filters that block most of the Ha wavelength light.
@@AZ4Runner the only different thing is not the color though. ZWO, QHY, Touptek are all different manufacturers and they have different designs and specs even though they use the same sensor.
I really like that picture of the whirlpool very cool
Good to see you Ken. Hope you and your family is doing fine!

What happened to the store in the south bay?? Hurt my heart to see it was permanently closed.
can carbon ed80 use off axis guider with filterweel or are the back focus to small?
What is your rig, Ken?
So you are saying that you can't use a HA filter on the G26 APS-C color camera ...

@@oriontelescopes Thank you
Is this made by ZWO? Looks suspiciously similar…..
They are all made is the same place just a different color housing.
No, I believe Touptek is the manufacturer.
@@doramason what I meant was they were all made in China.

@@doramason understand... and if I'm not mistaken, this one has more of a memory buffer than the ZWO Camera.
Well, say goodbye to Ken and Orion. They are out of business forever!
