Hi Resia! Hope one day you could visit Canfranc. The Pyrenees are outstanding. The best way to reach Canfranc from Dublín is take a flight to Barcelona. Once there, you have to take a the AVE, the Spanish high speed train, till the city of Zaragoza. This journey will take you 1 hour and 41 minutes. I've recomend you to spend a few days in Zaragoza. After that, you need to take another train, in this case a "Regional" train. It's said that the 4 hours journey till Canfranc is incredible, as you can enjoy the beatyness of the Pyrinees landscape. Kind regards, Adrián.
