I just like how Japan promotions book their matches because they feel a lot more like actual sanctioned fights with the most crazy, underground styles that make fights. They gave Naito his moment, they got over EVIL as a pure heel & most importantly FINALLY made Sanada the beloved, hero babyface with the crowd. Well done NJPW, amazing show!

Also, Nic Nemeth aka Dolph Ziggler in New Japan was an interesting surprise). Tetsuya Naito finally did the L.I.J roll call to close out the biggest show of NJPW. ✊🏻👆🏻
@@nicholasbrown4109 Excalibur is insufferable, Tony is utterly oblivious to any story being told or what the proper interpretation should be, Taz is only great when he has someone who is also great next to him, and poor JR is aging out. Big show and Henry are atrocious, the roh guys are good but the main dynamite/PPV crew is and has been very bad.
The show was good overall, with some very good matches, but nothing felt extra special, or like we'll talk about it in the future, which most Wrestle Kingdoms are like.
This WK felt a little low-key in comparison to previous years, even the build wasn't as hyped and some matches were announced really late. Still a good night of wrestling though
