Zoolander is the most 2001 movie ever made but somehow it has aged like fine wine.
If you removed the r slur in it, trumps cameo, and the coal black face then it's a fine wine

Tbf the 2000’s internet also had absolutely buckwild humor

There was some controversy with Zoolander when they were making it. The World Trade Center was in the background of the funeral scene and when 9/11 happened, they had to digitally remove the buildings during post-production.
They forced zoolander to take down the twin towers 😭

The world is essentially run by fashion designers and models operate as assassins due to their athleticism and their direct access to the world elite thanks to their fame.
Z2lander kinda dropped the ball on the whole El Nino “descendant of Steve” plotline though, but there’s a very cool idea there in the films that I wish had been explored more.

And as of this video, I have watched every single movie commentary, most of the non commentary videos and I’m subscribed. You guys have given me some of the best laughs I’ve had in while. December 2022 was a rough month for me and my family and you guys gave me some good laughs that I needed. I’ve never seen this movie before so I didn’t expect to laugh that much, but boy was I wrong. I was laughing so hard the entire video, I didn’t even know some of the references but I was still laughing at them. And the references I did understand I was laughing at twice as hard.
