- As we travel east, we come across some lil known historical sites. Since we're here, I figured, what the heck. One of the most amazing finds I've stumbled upon in years. A quaint lil church, built before the turn of the century, still standing and probably still usable. AMAZING!
Next stop, an IOverlander spot Andrew found, and OMG, it's friggin crazy cool. Birds, a dam, a huge lake, and peace and quiet. Come join us on this adventure as we explore the unknown

When I was a child my father and his brother bought an old church in Bissett Creek, Ontario and turned it into a family cottage which doubled as a hunting / fishing camp in the spring and fall.
It was right on the border of Algonquin park and a great place to fish, go to the beach, pick wild blue berries, snakes hunting, rock hounding and viewing whitetail deer, moose, bears, beavers, wolves, fishers, lynxes and many other smaller animals and birds.
It was the best time of my life!
Later on in life, I spent my honeymoon and 1st anniversary there. That place filled my heart with a lifetime of wonderful, unforgettable, family memories. That church you toured looked a bit like our little church cottage but it was possibly a little smaller than ours.
We went there several times a year, almost every summer of my youth, it was truly my happy place.
Thanks for taking me back there in my mind through your tour.

It’s only place I’ve been in the only province I’ve been in I was to Flyn flon we went fishing there and some other little towns, but I don’t know the names of them.
