Beautiful! I stay in Detroit and they only give us an hour also and you can’t get anything done in an hour. But I tell the customer they have to pay or extra time depending on what all I have to do. So far it’s been working no complaints.❤
Yupp! Same here if they want extra time. I try to steer clear from 1hr setups these days. I need at least 2hrs. Thank you love!

Beautiful work, as always! I am so happy you mentioned this. I had an event today and was alloted 45 minutes (-15 it took for them to agree on layout of where I should set up in the restaurant while they still had previous guests seated in the area). of course it took an hour because...that's how long it takes to set up a backdrop w/ drapes, install and configure your garland.
Let's talk about the pressure when guests begin to arrive. 😭 that's the worst.
We try to keep it cool but inside we 🥴

Beautiful I love it, but as far as the time goes with these venues I totally agree with you. I live in NYC and they do the same here they give us two hours which I think is ridiculous especially if your decorating the whole venue. It's unfair to the decorator and the person who's paying the venue.

Same issue here in Ireland. 1 hour isn't enough to create a good set up. I have no van so I inflate the balloons at the venue. It's a pain
Yes 1hr is never enough for me. Even if I can execute in an hour. I still want more time to step back and look.
Honestly I hate the Venue & Time thing too! But it's really the customer who is choosing not to pay for extra setup time since the venue charges hourly. (in some cases, not all)

Thank you! I charge per hour so I charge based on the time I think it would take to complete whatever design the client choose.

Hi. I charge for the materials, the time it will take me to complete look (per hour), overhead (flat fee), and delivery. These numbers all depends on your set prices, but the materials I charge exactly what I have to pay for to create the look.
Great video as always MashAllah. Could you please just tell me with the second row of clusters. How many in each cluster is there? 4/6/8 balloons per cluster? Just trying to see how many balloons i would need roughly to create something like this with the balloons i have and not buying more. Thanx

Lol! Yes, I believe I used 20 clusters going around the frame. It’s about 8FT
Yes they are greedy. They want you to pay for extra hrs to set up. But if I’m getting a space from you and you allow me time to set up I’m more likely to rent the same space from you again and recommend you. Even when there’s no even before they rather the space sit empty than being kind 😢
Agree!! Now, I understand if they’ve an event before but if it’s empty it benefits both sides to have more time to decorate.
