A really thorough and comprehensive video mate. Really appreciate the effort by a professional to put together and share for us d.i.y.'ers. Thank you. PS how similar is this to the 2.0tdci c-max of similar year?
mickycaine Thanks for the positive feedback. Subframe part would be the same. If you look at one of my videos for a transit connect. Earlier model as I’ve done two. It’s identical to that one.
@@WMCS Thanks for the reply. I just watched Ford transit connect 1.8D. I saw that the subfeame has to drop for access. So that is similar to my 2.0tdci cmax then?
Hey dude, got a clutch to do on a crafter on the floor '14 plate 2.0 TDI. Fairly easy you think? Only ever had em out on a lift much different on the floor?
Very easy. 3hrs. The only thing you have to do is first remove lower bell housing bolts. Then remove rest mount. I usually leave bell on subframe edge and tackle it from there. Just make certain gearbox is firmly supported.
@WMCS legend thanks for the tip! Be easier than lifting that unit in and out alone id imagine! Thanks for replying, love the channel btw! I've taken the plunge recently and gone mobile so plenty more floor work for me to come! 😂
sps38super I’ve started showing in more recent videos on the channel the bleed method I use. I’m about to upload a video which will show the method I use.... let me know what you think
@@WMCS ok thnx, i will take a look at it, keep up the great work, very usefull video's, and another question about the driveshafts, did they come out easily?? because ford states you have to use a special tool for removing the driveshafts out of the gearbox??
Dean Gibbs it’s called the gearbox lower mount. Otherwise more commonly known as the dog mount. The rubber bushes comes built in and it’s usually about £25+vat.
To do this on the ground WOW. Total respect.
I love watching you work kev, your gonna do well on yt, you make it look easy 👍
You are the Dog's Bollocks , and doing on the floor Big Thank you!!!! for sharing.
Super práce - zdravím z Česka.
Just as good if not better as any garage video. Most garage men/women would struggle on a driveway.
thanks

Is there needed to complete the transmission oil? I was thinking of that because of the of the draining needed in the begging.
Yes. Drain and refill up to level filler plug.
But about 1.9L
@@WMCS thank you for the answer!
Have you ever done a PSA 1.6hdi, the one with the gearbox bolt obscured by the DPF?
Any special tools required? Noting too fancy?
Best !!!

great video, did you bleed the clutch also??
sps38super thanks for the feedback. Yes the clutch will require a bleed.
@@WMCS do you use a special tool for that, or you prefer the oldskool method??
