Burlington Transit 2024 NovaBus LFS 7-2401 on route 3 Guelph

Thank you for clicking on this video! Today we take a ride on Burlington Transit's brand new 2024 NovaBus LFS 7-2401. This order (7-2401 to 7-2408)cis the latest order of Novas and are almost identical to the prevous order (7-2306 to 7-2309). Only change is the updated EPA2024 specifications. 4 of these units are replacements to already retired 2010 D40LF units, and the remaining 4 are expansion units. These units are powered by a Cummins 8.9L 6 cylinder L9 EPA2024 280HP engine paired with a Allison World Gen IV B400R6 6 speed transmission ordered with Load Based Scheduled Shifting and Economy Mode. These units feature 31 American Seating InSight Prime and 6 American Seating InSight Prime+ seating, electric door motors and ride on ZF axles.
This video was filmed on route 3 Guelph Northbound towards Dundas Street/Highway 407 Park and Ride starting at Guelph at Harvester and ending at Cavendish at Ingersoil. Route 3 travels North and South using mostly Guelph Line to connect passengers from Downtown John Street Terminal to Dundas Street/Highway 407 Park and Ride. Route 3 Guelph interlines with route 2 Brant 7 days a week.
