Im struggling, have a schedule, invested in marketing (and a mentor), and have website, Google ads, niche, breaking down ideal client (headshots). I dont cancel clients, set clear expectations, etc...im in CT, very competitive. I don't spend on gear unless necessary for a client...year two of 4 total doing this full-time. I did school photography prior to 2022....Advice?
"Rich Dad Poor Dad" and Stephen Covey's "7 Habits" are great, but my favorite photo business books are John Harrington's 'Best Business Practices for Photographers" and "Dreams Into Action : Getting What You Want" by Milton Katselas.
Thanks for the video! I think that a CRM is a must-have for every photographer. It really helps me to streamline communication with my leads and clients, especially with those who came from the website or paid ads. I just integrated these sources with my CRM (Flowlu), and all the contact information comes to the CRM module, where I can easily observe all the contact and customer-related information.
I love this! I love that book and I really love how you translate this to photographers! And yes the reason why we started this business is the freedom to take the afternoon off for field day! PS I would LOVE to have you on my podcast.... hint hint :)
I’ve been meaning to read that book for a LONG time and happen to be at a friends house who has a copy! Yay! This is good. Super helpful. I’m super rubbish at marketing at the moment and I really wanna find the joy in that 😉.
Her model is from Rich Dad and other real estate "gurus". They are all story tellers, but their stories lead to a paid seminar, that leads to another seminar, then a membership.

After watching this video to the very end. I realised that I am a poor photography. I have always been and going to change effective immediately
You’ve just told me everything I’m struggling with… that’s all.
You can do this!

Having the latest gear has catapulted my business no jokes
The fact that your on a channel called marketing telling ppl about photography. I like the way you sell
You nailed me in this one, Sarah- yipes! It's like listening to a "squirmin-'sermon" at church..
(Gulp) Thank you!
Yes I have. Enjoyed it very much.
You're right. It's niche, with a short i. "Neech" is TH-cam cutsie silliness.

Mam where are you from
Illinois
This is a bunch of hot air. Where's the data? Business models? Pricing examples? Nah, it's the same verbiage as a "we buy houses" real estate seminar.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
이것은 온전한 광고영상이고, 하는 말들은 그저 뜬구름잡는 이야기 뿐이다.
😩 i need help
I listened to the audio book😂😂
What was your biggest takeaway?
I only have time for audio books, they rock! ;)
How to say a lot and in the end nothing of value
