Hi sister Kamia. Indeed I have encountered that fire you speak of that transformation where the glory of the Lord takes over. And I was just as sure as you that nothing would move me from my position - until I found myself exceedingly confused with time, slowly but definitely drifting away - even my surrender wasnt the same no more... Honestly, I do not know what question I'm tryna ask you here (but maybe ask God to tell you what to tell me regarding this piece of information - since he knows all things and definitely knows what I'm trying G to get to the bottom of) It just feels like I lost it, that surrender, that willingness to listen and take part in the true and proper worship... 💔
My heart goes out to you, because I’ve been there. I’m definitely not God and don’t know everything but I can share with you what I do know. I do know when this happened to me (felt like I lost that zeal, that fire to burn for Him) 1. I had drifted away from Him 2. Expected the same encounter with Him, like I had the VERY FIRST TIME. 3. Was around people and in rooms that just snuffed that out instead of fanning into the flame as 2 Timothy 1:6-8 puts it. You haven’t been moved out of your position, you may have simply forgot that you’ve been positioned (in Christ) that’s why we always must remember. Your memory of your first encounter, memory of His Word and what He has told you, will sustain you in seasons where you feel like this. 💕
@@KamiaMcWilliams You have no idea how much I probably really needed to hear this. It reminds me of a recent sermon I listened to about basically (doubting God). That in the seemingly "dark" season you NEED to hold on to every single word He said to you in the brighter, hold fast to the promise, and basically never forget where you're coming from with Him. Basically don't doubt what He said about you, now that it seems as though you have good enough reason to doubt... Thank you 😁🤗 may He continue to keep you and bless you sis ♥️ muchhh love from me.
I enjoy these studies so much! Thank you for your obedience to The Lord and the call on your life!
Thanks
