If you think about it, the first encounter with Aigis is at that same place, her looking at the sea, without really knowing why... T-T This story alone is worth buying the game xD
True. The Grand Prix was basically a twisted, hyped-up reflection of Labrys' own experiences when she fought with her sister units. It was also a subconscious way for her to communicate her sorrow to others.
Probably not, as Labrys was made in 1999, while Persona 3 takes place during 2009-2010. Although the similar face and hair, as well as the same eye colour, are noteworthy similarities.
Well that's a bust....Thanks for uploading anyway though! It must be annoying going through all the stories again (especially this one that only has one fight). Though, not going to lie, I almost cried. This was the saddest story ever!
thats true in the game 'last to be made and only one remaining today'. Could be a number of reasons. I don't own a copy of arena and i don't want to get any further into the storyline and i have't heard the drama CDs yet. But the way i see it, it could be that Aigis is the last of her Model type that is active and any other existed models were destroyed by Death 10 years ago. Labrys who was the last of her model was shutdown and stored away was perhaps forgotten, not known or just too dangerous
It was mentioned in either an interview or an audio CD that Metis's face (from Persona 3 FES) was based on the little girl whose personality formed the basis of the anti-shadow weapons. Just think of her with Labrys's voice.
Actually, pretty damn sure Labrys was discussing this, how the volunteer girl's accent was from a particular region. It's pretty easy to notice when you have the Japanese track because it's so incredibly obvious she's using Kansai dialect.
@Andxel2 Nyarlathotep isn't dead, he's the manifistation of all humans' negative emotions, he's always around as long humanity has evil within them. Him as the Malevolent Entity, he retuned to his old tricks to again bring forth destruction of humanity, meaning Philemon has to come back to aid the casts of P3 and P4 to stop him from winning the bet they made.
Its gonna have shadow versions of every character on the roster with a twist mechanic for the shadows and are gonna have 2 "new" characters. both from P3.
Actually, one of the researches does mention something akin to "one of the volunteers may come from Kansai" when the 3 researchers discuss the fact Labrys has an odd accent.
Labrys story mode unlocks the first batch of "Full story" endings (Yu, Chie, Yukiko, Yousuke, Teddie and Kanji). Labrys story itself is merely just Labrys backstory and Labrys story itself ends in everyone else's stories.
She was the last of the Seventh Generation. All the rest were presumed destroyed and Aigis herself actually killed several rogue units. She wasn't on Persona 3 because she was sealed until P4 Arena, pretty sure no other evidence suggests otherwise
Here's a trick I learned while watching this. When #024 says all she wants is for Labrys to be happy, bite your finger, a pillow, or a wire to stop yourself from crying. It worked every time. (She says it twice).
Given how he only describes the negative parts of humans, and how he's the "Malevolent Entity" at the end of everyone else's stories... I'm pretty sure that's Nyarlathotep.
Well, you could send labrys into a tv where she will meet hher shadow and a bunch of highschool persona users and a 7th generation anti shadow supression weapon
Who wants to bet old man Kirijo had Snowy's owner quietly killed in the woods so he could breed the dog and its Persona potential? Snowy is clearly Koromaru's father or grandfather, after all.
Well she does own a Persona compendium just like Margret in Persona 4. For all we know Elizabeth could summon all the jacks, Thanatos, Orpheus, Alice and Satan all in one go.
Ah, Osaka is a city in the Kansai region so you're not exactly wrong. That said there's a ton of different regional dialects, just so happens most people recognize the Lansai (osaka-ben) one the easiest because it's so unique. The only other very different dialet I can probably tell very easily is the Okinawan Japanese because it's not even fully Japanese, It's Japanese missed with the the original language the residents of Okinawa spoke. but in short, yeah, you're not wrong, it's Osaka.
Im pissed at the fact that those three scientists just treated Labrys like she was nothing but a tool. I would agree that she is more human than any other human in the world. If people were able to see the world the way Labrys did, then this world would be a better place to be. Am I right?
What, that's the end of Labrys's story?! I feel so cheated for some reason! D: I felt so much emotions and this is how they end it?! Why are they so cruel! T_T
Ah well i wouldnt know much about places in japan. Only what i learnt through me watching anime. I was under the impression amercian accents characters came from Osaka guess its not just there. But cool
Shadows use BURST for something called Shadow Rage which gives unlimited SP for a short time. Also the final strike in an Auto combo gives the most SP and SP does not disappear when the next round starts. Here is more: shoryuken. com/2013/08/19/new-version-persona-4-arena-to-include-yukari-takeba-and-junpei-iori-from-persona-3-location-tests-scheduled-for-august-16-18/
I smell a rat. Labrys is very similiar to the Persona 3 Female Protagonist, both in their faces and personality. Could the Hospitalized Girl that was used as the base of Labrys's personality be the Persona 3 Femc!?
So is that guy really Philemon? For all we know Nyarlothep should be dead, but why would Philemon be a malevolent entity here?He was always pretty benevolent in the first Persona for all I remember. Maybe in P5 they'll explain why Igor is now the master of the velvet room instead of Philemon.Maybe Philemon was cast aside because he became an asshole after P2.
THIS WHOLE THING IS JUST BREAKING MY HEART!
If you think about it, the first encounter with Aigis is at that same place, her looking at the sea, without really knowing why... T-T
This story alone is worth buying the game xD
Kori Y So in a way, Persona 4 Arena had some connection to Persona 3
I love Labrys' accent but i think her story is the saddest
Oh god.... It truly is one thing to hear the story but its a completely different thing to see it.
This made me sad.... Poor Labyrs...
"I'm never sure what to say to her." "Why don't you try good morning?"
Good Morning Kos-Mo-errr-Labyrs.
@vaughn gicana
That's kinda the point. Labby's story is a flashback episode, showing her reason for the Grand Prix and her trauma.
True. The Grand Prix was basically a twisted, hyped-up reflection of Labrys' own experiences when she fought with her sister units. It was also a subconscious way for her to communicate her sorrow to others.
when persona 3 soundtrack heartful cry started playing at 51:20, i can diffently say for sure that her heart was crying out then
8:15 Rush Hour moment!
Labrys and Teddie's story are great than the others!
That feel when you realize the significance of the wish on the pier to Persona 3 and oh god why can't I hold all these feels
There's something adorable about her bronx accent
Those ninjas and their onions. Cant they cut them somewhere else? T~T
"Researcher with a tie"
Probably not, as Labrys was made in 1999, while Persona 3 takes place during 2009-2010.
Although the similar face and hair, as well as the same eye colour, are noteworthy similarities.

Machines are meant to be "LOVED" :3
It was mentioned in either an interview or an audio CD that Metis's face (from Persona 3 FES) was based on the little girl whose personality formed the basis of the anti-shadow weapons. Just think of her with Labrys's voice.
to be honest i didn't think about doing that but i will post one up, if i get enough likes on it then i will do them all
This is really sad even after all these years.
She may be one of the tragic if not the most tragic.
JYB is playing like 5 characters in Persona
Oh, that trick also works for when the little kid is talking from #024's memories and Living with Determination is playing.
Actually, pretty damn sure Labrys was discussing this, how the volunteer girl's accent was from a particular region. It's pretty easy to notice when you have the Japanese track because it's so incredibly obvious she's using Kansai dialect.

I think that too

Researcher with tie:Yu Narukami
Untidy Researcher:Shinjiro Adagaki
Woman Researcher :Margaret
She was the last of the Seventh Generation. All the rest were presumed destroyed and Aigis herself actually killed several rogue units. She wasn't on Persona 3 because she was sealed until P4 Arena, pretty sure no other evidence suggests otherwise
There was an unforfunate lack of brooklyn rage until the part about deleting her memories. At that point she put Joey Wheeler to shame.
I just realized the sick girl could possibly go back to a character in the first Persona.
Well, given that the models have a certain appearance pattern, I would say it's safe to assume she had very light blue hair... for a start at least.
Well, you could send labrys into a tv where she will meet hher shadow and a bunch of highschool persona users and a 7th generation anti shadow supression weapon
@Gino Ramos there was no fighting
PRAISE THE SUN!
And the wonderful character designs!
R-Right in the Kokoro 49:55
Hmm, which is the name of the song at 52:12?? I dunno why I can't find it. Even I can't remember the name.
If you're still looking for it, it's called Danger Zone.
AHHHHHHHH!!!!!! YES YES YES!!! I'm so super happy!! YESNESS!!! THANK YOU!!
to be fair we say him as a butterfly in 3 and 4
You mean philemon
The researcher with a tie's voice is Yu's and Adachi's, right? (Johnny Yong Bosch's).
0:44:08 Cue crying.
0:49:54 Cue RIGHTEOUS FURY!
i have a feelig that naotos theme was playing because their arcana is both fortune
Who wants to bet old man Kirijo had Snowy's owner quietly killed in the woods so he could breed the dog and its Persona potential? Snowy is clearly Koromaru's father or grandfather, after all.
she was metioned actually in the drama CDs
Well she does own a Persona compendium just like Margret in Persona 4. For all we know Elizabeth could summon all the jacks, Thanatos, Orpheus, Alice and Satan all in one go.
I'm glad they added in Persona 3's soundtracks =D
i think its more of an Brooklyn Accent which means the child Labrys was based on, may come from Osaka
that because he is before his job was a teacher
Ah, Osaka is a city in the Kansai region so you're not exactly wrong. @Kori yu
Unit 24:Aigis
Man, i would really hope that she becomes real in this world! i will always invite her to go to a ramen shop or even in a arcade store :)
Really enjoyed this story. Some amazing music, such as Danger Zone (when she was escaping the Lab).
Suchheartwarming story for fighting game right T_T
so sad!! i'ma cry
this is it
I didn't know Buckly wrote Labrys' story.
What's the song 9:00 it's so amazing let me know.
But even thou i didn't saw her on Persona 3 and i taught that Aigis was the last Anti-Shadow weapon?
Her accent is so cute
Im pissed at the fact that those three scientists just treated Labrys like she was nothing but a tool. I would agree that she is more human than any other human in the world. If people were able to see the world the way Labrys did, then this world would be a better place to be. Am I right?
Even though they died at the lab accident, I'm still pissed we don't actually see those researchers get their karma.
I swear that one dude looks like Mr. Edogawa from Persona 3.
Love Labrys' strory hurray for the Brooklyn ragebot nyeh.
I hope i can have a robot that follows me everyday @ school!! :3
thanks bro
What, that's the end of Labrys's story?! I feel so cheated for some reason! D:
I felt so much emotions and this is how they end it?! Why are they so cruel! T_T
Not sure if human error or robotic error
Man. why did i cried?
well it looks like the tables are turned in this story. Robots have hearts abd humans do not....interesting story as well as sadining. T-T
Her accent is like British :) that makes her more cutter :3
so your saying they just leave us on a cliffhanger on who the true villan is?
poor poor labyrs
whats the song at 1:09:58 ?
it's "reasoning" from persona 4
Ah well i wouldnt know much about places in japan. Only what i learnt through me watching anime. I was under the impression amercian accents characters came from Osaka guess its not just there. But cool

Wait, was there like no fighting in her story mode? Or did you cut out the fighting? O-o
no problem
Are you gonna do everyone's Arcade Mode after this?
I smell a rat.
Labrys is very similiar to the Persona 3 Female Protagonist, both in their faces and personality.
Could the Hospitalized Girl that was used as the base of Labrys's personality be the Persona 3 Femc!?
Alvin Rinaldo could be
So is there another story after this? Or does it just end like this?
Just 1 round...
41:37 Somewhat i really hate this lab boy's!! trying to destroy the most wonderful moment of these two by making such reckless conflicts!! (sigh)...
She sounds like she has a New Jersey accent, lol XD
#024
MrBrad Can'tDecidewhattoputhere you what's funnier than 24? 25...
What is the twist mechanic?
Where the fuck did Elizabeth get Thanatos from?
Did she died :'( ?? Did they shut her down ?
Not much fighting here
So is that guy really Philemon? For all we know Nyarlothep should be dead, but why would Philemon be a malevolent entity here?He was always pretty benevolent in the first Persona for all I remember. Maybe in P5 they'll explain why Igor is now the master of the velvet room instead of Philemon.Maybe Philemon was cast aside because he became an asshole after P2.
Xplain please
It later turns out is not Nyar-wtv but another demon
Hmmmmm? i kinda hope why she didn't appear in P3? if she was there maybe Junpei would hit her! XD hehehehe!! she is just so cute and hot!!
