I rem one race there Henry showed up w that wierd sounding bike we laughed thought he must be crazy little did we know the 2stroke smell would soon be gone..living between dilla and broome 6 hrs from budds dam seen so many great riders
THANK YOU for posting this!! I was there at this race, and it was one of the greatest races I've ever seen. When RIcky fell in the 2nd moto, he didn't have to catch James--he had already won the championship, but Ricky just wouldn't take 2nd. Every lap they went by us, the crowd was SCREAMING to for Ricky to get James. My girlfriend and I were on that hill right where he finally passed James, and the crowd went NUTS!!! It was awesome. He stopped on top of the hill after he won and took off his helmet and pumped his fists, and we all just exploded!
That's awesome. I was at High Point in 07 and Ricky ran down James late in moto 1 after getting a bad start and laying over briefly early. Crowd went pretty nuts. He got just as big a reaction when he triple-tripled through the little supercross section. Best to ever do it.
I was at this race as a kid, as well as the few years prior and after. Think the track mud gets bad? imagine the parking lot mud, aka hills of cars on wet grass. they literally had a dozerin the lot to pull cars out of the mud

This was one of my first tracks I had raced back in 2003 when I was starting out. Looks about the same as it did then
