Turner Syndrome | 45,X | Monosomy X || Ultrasound || Anomaly || Case 276
Clinical Features:
A 19 years old primigravida came with amenorrhoea for 4+ months.
Ultrasound Features:
Cystic hygroma with fetal hydrops
Generalized skin edema
Ascites
Bilateral pleural effusion
Ventricular septal defect
Bilateral echogenic dysplastic kidneys with left-sided moderate hydronephrosis
Echogenic bowel
Choroid plexus cyst
Remember:
Suspect Turner Syndrome & try to look for other associated findings when a cystic hygroma is diagnosed in a female fetus.
