Its even said it damages her colleges cause shes price dumping like Airplane companies to a point where no one can actually pay live from that anymore (or you pay less for material and your employees and have people sit together with no space) I understand her reason, i am there told but i was remembered what im causing with that! I feel like things like hair cutting, nail painting, or even tattooing can be learned outside of a classroom, you don’t necessarily need to go to a certified beauty school to learn how to do it, you just need a lot of experience (which she obviously has).

Tbh I always believe that experience > education. Having a fancy degree (even from a prestigious university) just means that you know how to read, take exams, or that you come from a decently well-off family. To really set yourself apart from everyone else you need the work experience/ skills, not just the training certifications/ education. The fact that people actually wait in line to have their hair cut at her salon is proof enough that she is skillful enough at her job. If she gave really terrible haircuts, no one would even pay $1.
As a licensed massage therapist who has a degree and extensive training in massage therapy and have been in business since 2017, I don't gouge my clients either. I have a fully booked schedule every week. My skills are worth more, but it is the love of the work that keeps me satisfied, too. I understand her philosophy with her skills.

When I started I would only charge a reasonable price but a client advised me to triple my prices and for house calls. When I did that I got booked out months in advance for a few years. And because I was charging so much I got all my clients from word of mouth. And it was a circle of business acquaintances. Each networking and trying to build connections. My favorite this is always going to be when someone gets up feeling energized. Like an elderly person feeling young again. I guess you could charge a demographic price. Like those in need less than those who just want.

I experienced this too. When I was younger I go to hair stylists that are reluctant to cut my hair short as a men's cut. It took a while to find a cheap hairstylist that will give me a men's cut and charge me men's prices
