z125 pro compression reading should be between 43-74PSI with warm engine. Per owners repair manual. So does this mean the Z has an auto decompression open at start up accounting for the lower reading than the grom? I keep seeing grom and other similar 125cc engines compression numbers at 130-160. Just FYI our bike is a 2024 with 150 miles. Runs perfectly and we did get 55 psi COLD and 58 psi WARM and a leak down test also held 110psi at less than 3% for 30 minutes. Hope this helps other Z125 owners as I could not find anyone else online sharing any info on Z125 compression numbers/results even with all these people installing big bore kits. I don't understand who would not have and share this info on BBK install videos. LOL
Like the monster energy decal package with your Z125. I just picked up a big bore Z125 and plan on posting some content. What mpg are you getting with yours ?
@@antoniolongoria2135if you're still wondering, it'd be fine. These are pretty beefy little engines. Even with a cam, exhaust, intake and tune it'd be fine. You can regear it a bit - maybe plus one on the front - so it'll use lower revs when cruising along at 45-50mph.
i could reach top speed on my stock Z125 fairly fast, Now i have intake 'airbox mod' and an exhaust but it struggles BIG TIME to hit even 62mph, I think its safe to say before you start modding these 125cc's you should get a fuel controller first........ijs
Us mileage nerds want numbers =D Of course it's worse, it's half again more powerful. But how much worse? 5% 10% 15%? jk jk I expect you wouldn't really know or care; like you said, $3. Already tickled pink you threw that Dyno chart up there. Love a good dyno chart.
Right the Grom. There are reliable 143 kits for the Grom and it Also comes down on keep in mind though the Grom engine and the z125 engine are different
I’m not trying to be a troll but my z has eBay cheap full exhaust and no air box just factory plastic tube off throttle body and on flat ground sitting up with my 6”2 300lb ass I can get 65 mph it did 62 with me and my wife on it
0:01 seconds, RIP headphone users 😅😅😅
What kinda MPG's do you think your getting now with this kit?

glad you mentioned the fuel consumption. Considering a Z125 and wanted to consider future upgrades. #gromkiller
I love the mis information on a click bait pic where it says 57% power increase when it's 75% power increase
Have had 186 In my grom for over 2500 miles

I recommend a standalone ecu for the 143. Like the hoedar or something else
2:07 I don't wanna bore you
New intro is dope
Did you catch the outtro doe?
Is the BigBore kit worth it? and what is needed to complete everything meaning all parts to get this job done I cant seem to find that anywhere.
Your bike rips!
+Yoshimura Research and Development of America, Inc. Cause of that exhaust 🙄👍
What's the top speed now on flat surface
Who told you that the cases need to be "split" to install the crank?
The cases do need to be split to remove the crankshaft as it's vertically split.
I’m thinking in getting one of the 2 the z125 already with a 143cc kit on it or a new 2019 grom which one would be
The z with the kit. It’ll outrun that Grom
Would it also be reliable as a daily driver roughly 56 miles a day

I'm in love with it. 👍🏾👍🏾
Link to buy ?
Might consider this upgrade
Defiantly worth the buy
Just picked up a z125, wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a wrecked 250 and slap that in? Hell just the PCV and BBK
You might have to do modifications on the frame with bigger engine.
Can you post link for kit?

You say you went with a 143 kit for reliability, but then say look at all the groms blowing up 143 kits?

Hey does anyone know if this is considered a motorcycle and if I have to get a motorcycle license to ride it because its only 125cc
Pretty sure you do.
Yes it is. In most states anything over 50cc requires you to have a motorcycle permit or license to operate one of these legally on the road
in ct you can ride anything under 125cc with a regular license
@@LucasSantos-cb1fh u sure about that. I live in CT.
@@deathunitesus2135 na its not true its 50cc somebody lied to me
Are u running an oil cooler on this bike with the bbk?
No sir even in the summer it doesn’t have over heating issues
Why do people think that we come here to watch people ride motorcycles also......
🤔
Mine consistently goes 67 bone stock
