Hi there! Thank you very much for this awesome run down of the greater Tucson area! We live up in Ouray Colorado. We're pulling our camper down to Tucson in a little over a week to stay there for a week and a half and explore the area! And....we are done with this winter up here! My wife and I will have fun, no doubt. But, my german shepherd that is tagging along with us will be missing the snow, no doubt. Hmmmmm...I honestly can't answer the preference between the Foothills and Oro Valley. I've never been to the Foothills. And, I've only drove through Oro Valley when a couple of years ago, I took a diversion down to Tucson on one of my Phoenix trips. On the drive back to Colorado, I took that Oro Valley/Catalina/Globe/Apache Falls/Show Low way home. I don't remember the specifics; but I do recall thinking it is pretty nice on this western and north western part of the mountain range! Have a great day! (new subscriber, by the way). PS. Marana, Tanque Verde, Vail, Tierra Linda Nueva and other parts will be on our exploration list too! PPSS. Hmmm...Marana has potential too. I'm in the aviation industry. This location would favor if I had to go to Phoenix. So....for all of these places, it is always give and take......some bigger lots, some more bang for the buck, proximity to services, proximity to hiking/walking/biking, maybe a pool & hot tub, easy access to downtown, easier access to Phoenix, rv parking...........so many things to consider!!
I live in Midtown, wouldn't live anywhere else as I hate putting my hands on a steering wheel. Crossroads Festival is across the street from me, walking distance to Fry's/Trader Joe's, Roadhouse Cinema, 12 restaurants to choose from, TMC is walking distance as well and great bus service. Love walking the streets with solid brick homes and no street lights on a number of streets, an extra luxury for me, no street lights.
Hi bro use to live in tucson Arizona as of two years ago moved to Pittsburgh now love it here to hot 🥵 in tucson we livedthere for 25 years me and my family
Thanks TucsonSolarInsider! Tanque Verde is going to be featured in one of our next videos. It has one of our favorite restaurants in all of Tucson out there.
My wife and I are looking to leave Roswell, NM and head to Tucson in July when our apt lease is up. We did make a trip, and settled on an apartment in the Cat Hills. So far the only road block is jobs. Been really sifting. Amazon driving can pay the bills, hoping that Marana warehouse opens up soon for more selection if it hasn’t already. Im hoping there is more job selection though come July. Im guessing maybe there is more availability of jobs in July since all the college folks and snowbirds are out of town? I do photography as well and hoping to book some shoots and get into that as well 😎 Anyways I’m really excited to come to Tucson and hope we can make it work 🌵🌵
I really enjoy your videos. I was born in NYC and lived there for 27 years. I current live in San Diego, CA and I have been here since 1994. I lived in Phoenix, AZ for 4 years but there was no financial opportunities for me there. I am now ready to retire from County government in San Diego and I am securing a job in Pima County. I am not looking for a home. I am looking for a decent neighborhood for a middle class couple with no children. Both in our mid 50's we would like something that is close to shopping mass transit. Can you point me in the right direction? Thank you.
Thanks for the comment. Lots of people love Pinal County. The most popular area there for us is Saddlebrooke a 55+ active adult community. They even have a softball field.
I’m a single female, retired and plan to pay cash for a home in about one year. Would love Catalina Hills or somewhere near there. Is it possible to find a 2/2 for around $250k or is that a pipe dream? Also considering Green Valley if Tucson is out of reach.
The first 3 on list aren't even tucson , I live on speedway and pantano . The best place i've lived and i've been here 48 years. stay away from North side south of orange grove. Traffic on south side is insane and be ready to leave 1.5 hours before the time you're supposed to be anywhere

Thanks for commenting. Midtown is AWESOME! I love the homes in that area.

Catalina Foothills all day from this list, but Tanque Verde might be my favorite...

Thank God they've been repaving Oracle Rd.
True. About time

We chose Marana. We love it! 🌵
Hey Trista! Sooooo glad to hear that!
How do you feel about the Sam Hughes neighborhood?
That's a great area that we get a lot of requests to see.
Have lived below Dove Mountain and in Oro Valley. Would choose Pinal County if there is a next time.

Cat Foot is probably unlikely. But reach out to us, we can get a better idea of what your wants are and we can get on it for you.

Where should you live in Tucson just about anywhere that is not close to the center or Midtown. Those places are dumps.
