28 April 2019 - Rev Adam Denley - Giving The Reason For The Hope You Have

Readings: Isaiah 53:1-6,9-12; Luke 24:13-35
Synopsis:
Adam encourages as to be ready at all times to give the reason for the hope we have in Jesus. He uses the example of the 11 apostles as an encouragement to us to do the same, particulary reminding us that:
1) The disciples are talking to one another about Jesus as path of the course.
2) The disciples are not perfect, but have a go anyway.
3) The disciples talk prompted by the fire and passion in the hearts from hearing God's word.
