I like it. Nothing wrong with taking some profit when prices shoot high as it has never lasted long-term. A move from junk to more numismatic is also smart during these times. Sadly, it is hard to get the value out of the 40% stuff, I don't recommend it at all. Nobody pays melt for it -- if you can find someone to buy it at melt sell it all. Good stuff. Cheers!
I wish I knew you were selling 1964 Kennedy Halves I have been wanting to get some nice ones.If you still want to sell anymore I sure would appreciate buying a couple or a few from you.
Good buy! But for me, I would get a decent seated , probably slabbed for $400. Quality over quantity. There is no wrong way to collect as long as you enjoy it.
I think you should’ve gotten more for the 40%, maybe between $3.50 to four dollars, loved the pick ups, last week I got a $.20 piece and a half dime for my type set, Keep Stackin bro
I just picked up 3 capped bust halves today at a vendor mall. 1810, 1828, 1829. They aren't going to straight grade but decent details and it's a series I've starting gaining interest in
Pretty good deal, you got rid of something you didn't need and you bought something you did need. That's what it's all about. Some people are saying you could have gotten more for the 40% Kennedy's. Those do not sell for much, not much interest in them, hence the price. They're a tough sell. You did good.
That's not a bad on the 90% and you avoid fees and shipping and time spent trying to sell them on ebay or other online market platform. Wish they'd have paid you more on the 40% but I'm sure it's more costly to refine so maybe that's why they aren't as generous on those.
I think you did great. Anytime you can upgrade from common coins to harder to find coins is always a positive.

With silver around 29.5, I would have paid 9.75 for the 90% Kennedy halves and 3.50 for the 40% halves, but that would include shipping to me
Yea I try to calculate that also and if I had used eBay pay the fees.
Just subbed
Thanks 👍🏼
In New England halves are a little bit more expensive. Your pick ups r beautiful
MELT on a 40% Kennedy is $4.37 & The 64 are worth at least $10 each more for BU 1s.

I think you did great on what you brought but I would have held out for 3 or 4 dollars for the Kennedys but that’s just me
I get about 4 dollars a piece for 40 percent Kennedys. Hard to see but if the seated half has full liberty you did all right at 400.

I love the capped bust series. Nice finds

I think you should have gotten more for the 40%. I keep debating selling mine have 36 so far this year from going thru half dollar rolls.
If you felt good about $400 and then that’s all that matters. Got some cool pickups especially the capped bust half!
nice pickups
were you able to shop around or did you only have one place to sell your coins as that limits what you can get for your silver.
Sadly not many options that was a big factor also.
I would have paid you a little more than that. I love those bust halfs as well.I think I have about 15 now.
I personally wouldn't have paid 400.00 .Nice coins though.
Second channel in the works??? This old farmhouse with KY coins and collectibles ? 😂
