black women we need to start learning to do our own hair. I thought I couldn't do my own hair either but I learned to do kinky twist braids, Havana twists, u parts, quick weaves and glue on wigs like this. The hair salons charge us too much and we save a lot of money doing it ourselves. I hope someone will try to make this wig as shown on the video and be inspired to do their own hair, its not as hard as it seems anyone can learn
+mspinkytee you can be wasteful with your money however you chose. I make enough money to get my hair done at the salon regularly. Some of us like to save our money instead of throw it away. And the mentality that you can't achieve a nice hairstyle if you do it yourself is negative and prevents growth.
+Black Power I AGREE!!!!!!!!!!!! I learned how to do my own weave instead of paying someone else to do it for 150! Best choice ive ever made. I regret paying so much.
My mom has lost the majority of the hair on the very top of her head and is so self-conscious about it. So, I started making her wigs to help boost her confidence. I've been doing the same 2 styles for like 5 years. She is going to be SOOOOO excited when I make this one for her! Thanks so much for sharing ;)
Absolutely gorgeous! I will make this unit....I am a cancer survivor *insert clapping* thank you! thank you! I was diagnosed August of last year and I lost ALL of my beautiful LOCS! 😩😭 I buy so many units such as this one never tried to make it myself. Thanks Peak Mill!!!! I can do this!!!! You're gorgeous and so is this natural masterpiece of a unit.
You're welcome. God bless you and thanks for sharing your time and talents. We white girls in Idaho need help figuring out how to do the hair of some of our friends who have been blessed with your type of beauty.
+peakmill your tutorials are always so helpful! How much longer would you say the glue gun method lasted compared to bonding glue? When you washed the hair with the glue gun hair did the glue start to separate from the hair/cap did you have to reply glue?
A better way to make the closure; wrap a small piece of hair around in a circle(the way you get it when you purchase it). Put glue on the track part, flip over and press with a flat iron till the glue dries. When you flip the hair over no tracks can be seen and the glue will hold it all together. Don't worry the glue won't stick to your flat iron.
This is beautiful.! To help with the closure, you can glue until you get that small circle that you got at 3:17 and just take some leftover hair and roll the weft like you would roll a waist belt, (that was the only way I could explain it l0l), but just a little dot as you roll. When you have a roll the size of the small circle, you can just glue it down. This is just a thought if you didn't want to cut so many pieces. I love this wig though.! I will be trying one for myself (:
If you use Parchment Paper on your wig head instead of the plastic bag, the hot glue won't stick to it and the wig will come off very easy. Just giving you some old school advice. SMOOCHEZ
I just happened upon one of your videos today, the one where you were talking about how you were taught by your family that black Americans looked down on you and thought we were better than you. For years I was taught the same thing about Africans, from my family. And, what made me believe it even more was, whenever I would meet a person from somewhere in Africa, they would appear to have this air of superiority, and/or be standoffish. And, even though I believed this in my head (probably because it is what I had been taught), in my heart I always felt like home in their presence! I felt such an overwhelming love and peace; I felt like, finally this is what my heart had been missing! Even though my life has been privileged, having been born and raised here in America, I have never felt at home here. I believe if most black Americans were honest, they would admit to the same feelings. Because I have noticed that we (black Americans) are always trying to fit in, and be accepted by everybody that is not like us! Anyway, just wanted to let you, and every other person from somewhere in Africa, know that you are loved, you are beautiful, you are me, and you are home in my heart!
WOW! I couldn't figure out for the life of me why so many African women were so rude to me. It's because they think we look down on them?! WHAT THE HELL?!
i cannot wait to purchase your hair! i've searched and searched for FLAWLESS installations and you are the greatest teacher! cant wait to be rockin my "shedless" mayven! beautiful!
I have made this wig 3 times once for me and twice for my daughter and every body loves it! Now my daughter friend's want me to make it for them. Thanks Peak your the best
+peakmill hey I love your wigs and I wish I could make them like you do .don't you make them to sale because I we'll be your first one to buy your wigs
Someone must be messing with your accounts because I know I did not unsubscribe to your channel! This is a fabulous wig. You are such a perfectionist about your hair. That hair is beautiful!! My scalp is extremely sensitive to plastic. I wonder if I'd see another cap under the on with the hot glue after washing the wig, would it be ok to not irritate my scalp. That's the main way I lose hair. I'll try something different and new, like a supposedly goid brand of braiding hair or a blend and next thing I know, my scalp is on fire, then the shedding starts. Man, that wig is beautiful!!
Hello I don't wear wigs but I have watched your video 4 times and now I want to start. I have now also subscribed to your channel so I can keep up with your styles and know what i'm doing. thanks girl!
That is soo cute. I just found an afro wig I forgot I had and Im soaking/washing it now. Its very curly so I think I need to fluff out the curls a lot and shape it. Im excited.
I was viewing you transformation video and the wig caught my eye. Love the wig and will make one but the glue does not slip/shift when it gets wet. I have used glue guns in the past never though to use one for hair.
Thank you for this tutorial! I'm so excited to wear mine! My head is WAY bigger so my cap was bigger and used 8 bundles. Also used from bottom to top 15", 16", 15" 14" 12" .
I am really falling in love with all your hairs.....if I were to be ur lil or big sis I'll make sure I wear every single of the hairs.....I love u cos u r talented 😗😙

hi, pls help. i dont understand what that first track on the inside does, did you start with it as well and what hair did you use?
It's so you don't see the weft on the "hairline" portion of the wig

beautiful. My natural hair looks exactly like that :-)
How much would you charge to make this wig for someone?
She has a website !!!
she charged $585 t for it............
+Stephanie J The wig is $350.00 on her site, not $585. you were looking at the bob. www.peak-mill.com/product/versatile-carefree-fro
First day it was $585. She must have reduced it
oh haaha ok! :)
#1reason why I love PeakMill, you are the hair boss.
I just finished making and washing my unit. I can't wait to wear it. Thanks for the tutorial! I wish I could send you a pic...lol.
With the hot glue gun, did the hair fall off when you washed it? Do you prefer hot glue or thread?
I was about to ask the same Q too
it shouldn't. hot glue doesn't get destroyed by water.
Gurrrrl !!!!!thread works better my hair cost too much to be putting GLUE in it PLUS it last for years
she looks good im everything i cant anymore. im gonna go hide under a rock
david garcia stop that
u could also grow ur hair out like that
+daric nd well, easy to say
if your hair is naturally curly, not everbodys hair is curly.
Umm, it's called a protective style.
You could also go watch another video and let do with her hair whatever she pleases
+daric nd So could you now stop watching this video
Fabulous! Loving the natural hair and you look gorgeous. Very confident!
Beautiful, definitely trying this out.
PS. plastic bag is to protect wig head as well as not having the wig cap stick on it.
Plz what is the background music👏🏽. I'd love 2 work out 2 this. I ❤️the wig. I'm bout 2 make 1 right now.
Love it!!!!
Why hot glue?
+Momma Bear go and use elmers glue and see what happens
+Kimberly Ify There's weave glue darling
***** I guess that was supposed to be funny 😩😞 I asked this because it doesn't look like weave glue.
it stays much better than hair glue! 💕
S. Martin Thanks!
Hello I don't wear wigs but I have watched your video 4 times and now I want to start. I have now also subscribed to your channel so I can keep up with your styles and know what i'm doing. thanks girl!

That's the business of life - to be not too fair. Don't take it on too much! Inner beauty is more important, though. :-)
