    Could you tell me how I can service my xerox 6515? It started making a line when i print color copies.

    I am getting fault code 062-380. I have cleaned the glass multiple times but cannot clear the code. Any suggestions?

      Make sure to restart the printer after cleaning.
      If that doesn’t work we would recommend visiting your nearest Xerox Authorized Service Center or drop by at our Tulsa Oklahoma Location 7446 East 46TH Place if you are in the area.

    Cool ! thanks,, I learnt something new today. Would love to see how you replace the ADF unit on a 6515 as this failed on my last one and had to buy a new one as Xerox wanted twice the cost of the printer to come out and fix it.... (was only 18 months old).

      Here are some steps you can take to try and stop the grinding noise your Xerox 6515 printer is making:
      Power the printer off then on.
      Check the tray for damage to the link mechanism.
      Reseat the Waste Toner (Dry Ink) Container.
      Reseat the Drum Cartridges.
      Open and Close the Paper Tray.
      Replace the Waste Toner (Dry Ink) Container and Clean the Printhead Lenses.
      Remove and reinstall the toner (dry ink) cartridge.
      Remove and reinstall both the waste cartridge and color drum (imaging unit).
      If the problem persists, it’s recommended to contact Xerox Support or your local Xerox service center for further assistance. Please remember to handle all printer components with care to avoid any damage.

    How to solve defect 016-748 ? How do I reset her HD. Do you have the video there and also how to update it via usb or network? I used the program I think because of the problem it does not update.

      That error 016-748 is not an error code. We'll need the correct error code and more info to further help. As for resetting; Press "Home Button" > Go to "Device" > Press "Resets" > Press "Factory Reset" > Press "Reset" to confirm. Hope this helps!😃

    What is the issue on a Xerox Phaser 6510/DNI when there is a fault code#: 094-318, and how do I resolve it ? I already replaced the 2nd bias transfer roller as per Zerox support but that did nothing.

      Your Xerox Phaser 6510/DNI printer is showing an error code, 094-318. This usually means there’s a problem with a part inside the printer called the 1st Bias Transfer Roller.
      Here’s what you can do:
      Restart your printer: Just turn it off, wait for about 10 seconds, then turn it back on.
      If the error message still shows up, you might need to change the transfer belt in your printer.
      If changing the belt doesn’t fix the problem, it might be a more serious issue that needs a professional to fix. In this case, you should reach out to Xerox support or your nearest Xerox technician.     Is there a way to print double sided on a workstation 6515 printer

      Thank you for your question! The Xerox WorkCentre 6515 has three available models. The 6515dn & 6515dni both duplex. However, if your machine is the 6515n, this model does not have the duplex feature built in. I hope this has answered your question.     Just replaced it and it still says out of black toner

      Hello James you either have put the wrong toner in it the printer needs to be restarted if not you have a defective cartridge that needs to be sent back to who you bought it from thank you for choosing onyx subscribe so we can hit 1000 before 2025

    Hi, I have two of these printers. One of them I just bought a set of drums for then it died. The other one showed end of life so I took the drums from the printer that died and installed them in the other printer. It still shows that the drums are at end of life. How can I fix that?

      It seems like you need to reset the drum counter on your Xerox WorkCentre 6515 printer. Here are the steps to do that:
      From the Standby Mode, press the [Menu] (up arrow) button, then press [5], 2, [0], 4. The screen will display: Change drum. Yes No1.
      Press 1, then press [Enter]. The screen will display: Completed1.
      Press [Stop] to return to the Standby Mode.
      Please note that you should only perform this procedure after you replace the Drum Cartridge1. If the Drum Cartridge is replaced before the ‘Drum Warning’ message has been displayed, the Drum counter must be reset using the Menu options2. If this is not done, a premature ‘Drum Warning’ and ‘Replace Drum’ message will be generated.

    Any solution for this garbage printer when it gets the infamous 062-380 error, besides smash it or dumpster it (where it belongs)

      We definitely know the feeling!😂 It seems the lamp brightness is not detected. First try cleaning off the scanner glass. If that doesn't work, the entire ADF may need to be replaced.     What to do if there is error code 062-380??

      This particular error code is kind of a generic code. It could mean a few different things. Generally, the scanner is locked or stuck in position. I will walk you through a quick restart to see if this will reset the code.
      1. Unplug the network or data cable.
      2. Power off the printer.
      3. Wait a few minutes.
      4. Without reconnecting the data cable, plug the power cord back in.
      5. Wait for the printer to return to a ready state.
      6. Once printer is back to "ready" state, reconnect your data cable.
      As simple as this sounds, it sometimes will clear an error so you can continue to print. If this process does not reset the code, it may mean that the scanner or lens has failed. If that is the case, we recommend contacting your closest Xerox repair center. Thanks for visiting our TH-cam channel!

      @@onyxtutorials That wont fix it - ever. Neither will the clean the glass nonsense on the xerox site. It's not really generic either, it means the scanner is bad basically. Restart the machine, you should see the scanner bulb lite for a second. If it does not, for 100% sure it's bad and you might as well put the printer in the dumpster where it belongs anyway.

    These Xerox printers die more often than cheaper printers.

      Mohamed, we always recommend our clients to stick with the brand you like. So if you love Brother printers, then stick with them! The key to making your printers last is routine maintenance!

      @@onyxtutorials Maintenance? Mine has not even been through 2 sets of toners and the ADF/scanner assembly died! What maintenance will fix that? He's right, these things are garbage.

      Printer quality varies on how much the printer costs or how much it prints if you feel like your printer is not doing well we would recommend you upgrade to a more enterprise printer.
