You said the E is the lowest string, [low to high= E C# A F# E C# A F#] but in the next post below, Robert Huston says E is the highest string: "It's just a standard A6, top to bottom, E,C#,A,F#,E,C#,A,F#." Which is it? I'm guessing E is the highest [pitched] string. Its a closer voicing.

I watch your videos and they are very informative. But, you never say what tuning you are using. So, It causes frustration trying to learn what you are doing,.
Eddie responded to your question. Here is his explanation; "IT'S REALLY A MATTER OF PERSONAL TASTE. IF IT WERE MINE I'D HAVE A6 RATHER THAN C6 FOR TWO MAIN REASONS. I LIKE THE FATTER AND MEATIER SOUND OF THE A6,BUT IF YOU PREFER A TWANGIER SOUND,STICK TO THE C6. ALSO,BECAUSE E IS THE 5TH IN THE A SCALE YOU CAN JUMP NECKS AND IT WILL BE THE FIVE CHORD OF WHAT EVER KEY YOU'RE PLAYING IN AT THE SAME FRET. VERY HANDY. THAT'S JUST HOW I WOULD DO IT BUT EITHER WAS,DEFINITELY KEEP THE E13."

Since these professional musicians are usually busy or on the road, getting a question answered by them is always a bonus.
