If you compare the portraits, you can see that the crude amateurish portrait of Catherine was very different from the lovely way she presented Sarah. And even though the black African King, who 'owned' the orphaned girl and would have eventually used her as a human sacrifice, that Queen Victoria generously took care of her, providing excellent education and lodging, somehow, has been negatively interpreted and twisted to make a point by this artist.

This portrait is absolutely disgusting. Princess. Catherine is one of the most beautiful people inside and out and you can tell by the way, the artist painted this portrait that she does not care for. Catherine. This looks like something that a 10-year-old would do. Why would a magazine put this kind of an artist in charge of a royal portrait? There are so many other artists that could be recognized and do fantastic job. As an American I am insulted by this portrait. I would just throw this away. I would not even buy the magazine. I question the magazine and artists ability to be neutral and even fair. The artist seems to be inserting Meghan into the portrait instead of Catherine.
That portrait is saying, "I'm allegedly an artist, but I hate beauty and I can't draw faces."

Whoever allowed this to be shown, let alone commissioned, should be fired immediately, and the "artist" made to repay any monies for producing this abhorrent item.
Catherine has cancer, so should be allowed privacy and support in her time of need, NOT made to see or hear about the absolutely grotesque "vison" some deluded idiots have of her made public.

@@daCubanaqt She managed to do a fairly decent portrait of Sarah Forbes Bonetta. the black godchild of Queen Victoria with only a couple of photographs as reference. If you compare the portraits, you can see that the crude amateurish portrait of Catherine was very different from the lovely way she presented Sarah. And even though the black African King, who 'owned' the orphaned girl and would have eventually used her as a human sacrifice, that Queen Victoria generously took care of her, providing excellent education and lodging, somehow, has been negatively interpreted and twisted to make a point by this artist.
