I like the combo of caster plus a good player. I wonder if saving the travoi for stable in that last game is worth it, or if making a farm and building a stable from wood crates is better. GGs
1:36:00 - Uhlan are super swingy, low HP means they really need to get in there and start swinging otherwise they do just all die and you're pretty sad :( Julian needed a more open battle that let him get everything in and start swinging faster I think.
there was I think a semi final Spain v Dutch on hokkaido remember an earlier game aswell with Dutch but generally they dont suit the tempo of a high elo Tourney game wheou have say Hausa, Germany, Spain and others higher priority and players have full access to civs -1ban
@@paul_5848 The game feels very unbalanced imo. As dutch you hardly have a chance vs African or Asian civs in 1v1. Soo many games finished off in 15min. Either a succesfull or failed rush. I hate the state of the game especially when i play dutch. I did enjoy playing them a lot about 5 yrs ago. I feel like you can only play reactive as the dutch, i am hardly ever able to punish my enemies mistakes early game. I think it shows that hardly any pro player uses the civ. Its different when playing teamgames, but its just no fun playing 1v1 anymore with dutch, you hardly have any options but to turtle... asian and african civs show up with mortars and rockets, which are very hard to counter. Why are my comments getting deleted? I uninstalled the game anyways, might aswell unsubscribe.
@@benjaminhendriksen in terms of supremacy is low tier but someone has to be. Its a solid pick in Treaty and solid In a larger team game. Just people compare using suprem as the measuring stick.
@@paul_5848 i'm just sharing my personal experience. I played ethiopia earlier today. We had the same resources gathered when the game finished, yet he has 40 units and a mortar in my base at 9min... wtf is my advantage in that matchup, i can do fck all
@@paul_5848 In 1v1 the dutch have so little options. I think its very outbalanced. People are just looking for the most broken mechanics and exploiting them. Revolts etc. In my eyes its just a matchup of exploits of badly balanced civs. Its just one big mess in my opinion. It brings a lot of dynamics to the game. But i have had the same gameplay for over 30 games now in 1v1: always getting rushed. I do not enjoy it anymore

Has anyone used dutch during this entire tournament? I have watched several match ups but i have not seen dutch being used once...
