Not really, as someone who like kpop, but isn't the biggest kpop stan, I can confirm this is mostly true. It's not like I don't know other members like in Bts, BlackPink, Itzy etc. But when someone says their group name like IVE I only remember Wonyoung
Why would everything be associated with haters? Most misinformed or unfamiliar people would see like this. And it's okay. If they are into the group, they will eventually know the rest of the members. Don't take everything to heart.

I disagree with the ATEEZ, Enhypen, and SVT one. All Enhypen members are pretty much equally recognized and liked I think. And for ATEEZ, I would take the X of Jongho and put it on Yunho. Yunho seems to go unnoticed for his talents whereas everyone knows that Jongho is literally the glue of the team.
Also I would take the x off Seonghwa and HJ. Maybe switch them out with Mingi. Both get higher fancam views especially Seonghwa. I think he is right behind San with the views. I also know lots of Seonghwa stans. Seongjoong is the second most popular ship as well. Even the least popular member is still loved by Atinys. So I don’t think there’s a big margin of popularity between the members. However I do think Yunho and Yeosang are very under appreciated for their dancing and vocals.

As you become more familiar with the group then you notice all the awesome quirks and personalities of some of the quieter/lowkey members. (And usually realise thy aren't at all as quiet/lowkey as you thought.) It's natural.

Not entirely true. There were groups who were more about music than visuals. Groups like 1D or backstreet boys. They also had popular members who were mostly good looking according to the fans or general public. I was never a 1D fan but I still knew who Zayn Malik is or Harry styles. Also you'll find these acting cute, skinship, fake personalities, fan services in every industry not just kpop.
Kpop sometimes is hard to tell which groups that really close like a family or they just treat each other like co worker or they actually hate each other but just pretend in front of camera they comfortable with each other. In GG i can't say if they really close and love all their members, but for BG i notice group like Ateez, Treasure, Ikon, Got7 they really close and treat each other like their own family

Seonghwa and Hongjoong are both popular. I would have never put an “x” on them. Especially if you look at fancam views. Seonghwa is second behind San then Wooyoung/Hongjoong. Mingi, Yunho, Yeosang and Jongho usually get the lowest views. At their concerts Mingi, Yeosang and San gets the loudest screams. Yunho seems to be popular in Korea. Jongho seems to be popular amongst men. WooSan is the most popular ship followed by Matz and then Yungi. There’s really no way to determine who is most popular cause they all have popularity in different ways. If I had to really choose it would be San, Seonghwa, Wooyoung and Hongjoong.

Exactly, I admit I haven't known them for that long, only few months, but one thing that stood out to me right from the start was how none of the members was getting left behind by the fans. Some are more popular of course but thats understandable, like even in friend groups there are usually people who draw more attention and it doesn't mean you don't love the others. Some people just have a very big personality, or they are the jokesters of the group, or they are simply very lovable and bubbly and charming (the last one literally describes Felix lol).

This video means how the gp(general public) or casual viewers sees the group. Of course the group's fandom sees them equally as they're the fans of the group. It's sad but the video is actually true. There are members who aren't known by gp while some members are very well known even by just their name. Some of these group's members aren't noticed or known outside of the group because they don't have much screen time, lines and solo promotions. And that's what really sad. The agencies give more promotions, screen time and lines to the popular ones but neglect the unpopular members instead of giving them the spotlight so they can also be known by the casual viewers.
