I know that you don’t need the measurements because you’ve done it so many times but we do because we obviously don’t know what the fuck we’re doing😭😭😭😭
Some people do not know the measurements but they eyeball it. So look at the clues. For example some people say leave one nuckle up or one half inch of water above the rice.
Thank you so much for keeping it simple and very intriguing🥹🤌🏾🫶🏽🔥 you gave me so much confidence to cook rice again, I always failed but with your video I feel very confident
At the beginning I put it on high heat. The buttons on my oven goes from 1 to 10. I started at 10 (high) then when the water evaporates and it’s time to put the lid on the cast iron, I turn it to 3(low) I hope that makes sense 💕
This is why I'm getting married to one of y'all. I literally just watched three different shows an the main part they left out was to stir the rice🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️ until the water evaporate. As I write this I'm letting it sit in the pot for the 25 mins you said. So yeah this is ya boy first time an I'm loving this cooking thing😭so what it's only rice😭. Thank you❤️❤️🌊🤙🏿😎
any oil is fine but mostly use canola oil and vegetable oil depending on whichever is cheaper srsly tho any oil is fine experiment for different flavor if you like
Oh Betty, I've been cooking rice forever, ever since I just use rice cooker hahahah,, this one is very interesting, I have to try this for sure for different style and taste. my son love white rice this will surely be a hit, yummmm.
Nice going A good way to make the good rice, But think you are rite on for many of your steps Only I would only keep the burner temp down To just bring it up to boil lite boil after putting rice in then just barely simmer Your timing is rite one for many rices Cover and only stir once and cover and only fluff at time end. Super vids.
@@B.Demureness watching your video for the very first time. What kind of white rice do you recommend? Long grain? Or? Thank you! Greetings from Palm Coast Florida 😎

What about heat settings at the beginning high or low
At the beginning I put it on high heat. The buttons on my oven goes from 1 to 10.
I started at 10 (high) then when the water evaporates and it’s time to put the lid on the cast iron, I turn it to 3(low)

But like how many cups of rice did you make with it? And if I’m only making 1 cup of long grain rice how many cups of water should i add?
Same question I have.
Most rice is
2 water
1 rice
Some time maybe
Another
1/4
or
1/2
cup
Cup
Water
i did one and a half cups of rice to 2 cups water in the tiny imusa caldero
2 cups water
small amount of any oil or fat
(butter etc.)
1 cup rice
How much water to rice
The rice looks perfectly cooked ! Just the way I like it too not mushy :-D
Great recipe! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the recipe! What type of white rice do you use? Long grain?
its always long grain
what numbers should I use on a gas stove? I use a caldero but it still comes mushy I think I am over cooking it
How long is every so often like 5 or 7 minutes
Every 30 seconds, because you don’t want the rice to stick to the bottom of the pot.
This is why I'm getting married to one of y'all. I literally just watched three different shows an the main part they left out was to stir the rice🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️ until the water evaporate. Good Job...Thanks!!

What type of rice & what brand did you use ?
Its looking good🥰
What rice did u used long medium or short gain? N first timer need measurement sorry that’s true 😢
Love rice with everything!! I need to try this out
Yes girl, I’m a rice lover lol let me know when you make it, if you like it 😉
Dominican rice is my favorite! Question: without burning the rice, is there a way to alter this so that I wind up with good con con as well?
just use a big pot and leave the heat on higher setting longer
How much oil did you use?
Somehow mine still came out undercooked 😢 then I added a cup of water to see if that’d help and it was soggy 😭😭😭
It also depends on the pot ALOT you need a heavier thicker bottom pot and do NOT over fill it. Her rice cooks bc her pot is flatter than a saucepan .
I think it’s the pot
What oil did you use?
I use vegetable oil for my cooking. But you can use canola or corn oil.
Ground beef recipe!!! Please
About the water measurements, is that a standard cup size or a coffee cup measurement?
Hi Leo, I use a standard cup size.
Hi what brand of oil do you cook with? Also is it vegetable oil? Canola oil?
any oil is fine but mostly use canola oil and vegetable oil depending on whichever is cheaper
srsly tho any oil is fine experiment for different flavor if you like
Corn oil is good
Can you make habechulas?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Use sea salt
I find these imusa caldero at price rite for $30
Oh Betty, I've been cooking rice forever, ever since I just use rice cooker hahahah,, this one is very interesting, I have to try this for sure for different style and taste. my son love white rice this will surely be a hit, yummmm.
rice cooker is good for consistency but stove top rice is better flavor
What kind of rice do you use?
Jazmin Rice
long grain
How many cups of rice did you use not sure if you said it & i missed it ?
She didn’t say
Duh!!! she did say… 3 cups of rice 3 cups of water
