When I went to Larnaca, I just merely flew El Al from Tel Aviv to Cyprus. I ❤ that Air Haifa exsists now. In my lifetime so far of traveling to Israel, Haifa's airport just wasn't widely used. Would have been VERY CONVENIENT for me to fly directly into Haifa back when my Israeli family members in Karmeliya were still alive. Alas, Ben Gurion was the only option, and then driving up to Haifa from Lod/Tel Aviv, which is a BEAUTIFUL drive because you get to see what the coastal plain region of Israel up into the Galilee REALLY looks like.
Sounds like you enjoyed your time here. Have you visited the wide open spaces of Jizrael Valley ? Spring time or late summer it's beautiful with vibrant colours of the endess fields.
Beautiful. I like the three languages on the plane. I was in Larnaca just before the new airport was inaugurated in 2009. We had a bus take us on and off the plane. Legroom looks tight but these are short flights. Haifa must look even nicer landing during the day.
Haifa is a vibrant hub of industry and commerce for about 100 years now. Haifa is similar to Genova or to Saloniki : Mountain + narrow land + the Med. sea.

@@wotan10950 Correct, she is named Kityat Shemona. The township has been hit hard in the last year, it will take a lot to recover & rebuild, great locals.
@@therichieboyBeautiful LLER may be, but shockingly inconvenient compared to LLET (ז"ל), location and access-wise. And there was something so magical about having an airport smack-dab in the middle of the city.
I can't speak with experience, i didn't visit much places there, but there is some nice places if you take a car, I'm not sure it's worth it coming from the US, otherwise you are already in the area like Israel. as you said in some of your vlog videos don't bother coming, but you can check it online, maybe you will like it

Really surprised there wasn't a police or security guard telling you to stop filming the EL AL 777 LOL Cyprus must be safer than Luton. Great video, Thanks for sharing! Would be interesting to see what you paid for this flight. Looking at the website a return trip in february is $348, that seems pretty expensive even with virtually no competition at the moment.

Very nice video! The last time I flew regional in Israel was Israir ATR-42 from Eilat (old airport) to Sde Dov, neither of which exist anymore.
