Some problems with the WW's mom's advice:
    1. She broke the trust. Without trust, there will be a quick loss for love.
    2. Marriage vows are NOT an ala carté menu. You don't pick and choose which one to obey and which one you can drop. It's all in or nothing.

Yeah, I thought her speech was lame. There is no way her son-in-law would want to stay or be faithful to a wife who cheated on him. That doesn't happen. He will get a divorce or consider his wife a roommate, and start seeing other woman.

This fiction story made by woman who believed cheater deserved a second chance. It was sickening to read that she plan carefully with every words she said and been told by her mother on hw to manipulated the husband. This story shud be banned, I'll admit not every men out there can win this battle if they encounter this issue. But cheater always won at the end which quite depressing.

False logic , if you break one vow , you nullify ALL the others.

I honestly think if you’re in the unfortunate position where you see a still photo of your wife cheating on you I think seeing her do b job might be worse then intercourse. Really don’t think I’d forgive cheating at all but seeing that pic would ensure I couldn’t get over it. I’d never be able to kiss her again

Eve's desire isn't sexual. The desire is to her husband's position as head. Think about it. The last names are paternal. Even if a woman chooses to keep her father's/ maiden name, it's paternal. The desire is to try to overthrow her husband's position. Adam gave into his wife. Adam was the first to do happy wife, happy life. Adam and Eve both had sex in the garden before the fall. Sex itself is a gift from God. God is the masculine and created the feminine. If you read Genesis 3:16, the last part says, "And he'll have to dominate you." Does that mean physical violence? No. Women test to see if her man will say no to her. They want them to be able to stand up for themselves, and that includes from herself. They don't want a yes man. They want a guy that drives the car while they sit in the passenger seat.

Most unrealistic part: that Donna would want to reconcile with Steve, a sickly man. Woman have deep contempt for weak men. Women demand strong protectors with thick wallets. A weakened man drained by medical bills is repellent to all women.

The guy had a company and money. Most women will take a weak guy with a strong bank account. A sick guy with strong money is even better for a gold digger.

@@bonb213totally. When I was young and handsome. Women mostly ignored me unless I worked it pretty hard.
Now I’m over 60, short, balding, now I get hit in all the time. They’re not looking at me. They’re looking at what they think I might have. It’s not attractive.

And can we talk about the supporting characters? Donna's mom swooping in like a tactical genius, ready to salvage the wreckage of her daughter's marriage? That's some next-level maternal instinct right there. But then there's Bill, Steve's foreman, throwing shade like a pro. Talk about adding fuel to the dumpster fire.

Yes, but I think we need to get very clear on what a cheater is. The only reason I think this story works , and his choice to forgive her is acceptable is the question of intent. The events laid out in the story suggest that she was taken advantage of more than sought out a plot and I think that's the clear distinction.
Had she been the engineer of this game that led to the events of the story then I would absolutely agree with you, but it seems to me that her, like her husband's trust in his "friend" was distinctly misplaced. On her part I think the only real wrong was not immediately telling her husband and calling the police, and while I can understand her notion of keeping her shame to herself, I don't think she had any reason to be ashamed to begin with. Refusing to share that burden was the reason she should be ashamed.

Even in the story, that man is VERY lucky to be alive. When the LAD artery is 100% blocked more often than not the patient is D O A. I know a Trauma surgeon who told me once when it comes to this type of M.I. that golden hour is more like 10 minutes. He has spent almost all of his career working in a level 1 center. He looked at me across the table, I was with my GF and he was with his wife. He told me Mike I have seen many patients not make the trip to the cath lab. The primary problem is this kind of M.I can happen to a person in good health.

I really hope 🙏🏾 pray that these stories are creative writing because I don't think I can look at everyday people the same if true. I mean cheating is one thing but it isn't worse than a man being friends with for years with a undercover perv/predator who he allows around his wife and kids. And a woman can't be that dumb and slow to allow her guard down and trust a man without her husband around even if he is the best friend. These actions easily erase all previous accomplishments and accolades 😂😂😂😂

I hater cheaters. While she cheated, it was more of a coercion. And she ended up refusing the blackmail. More a victim, than a cheater, but the act still happened. Is redemption possible? Sometimes, but it all depends on the situation.

great video! i really enjoyed the way you presented the emotional complexities. however, i can't help but think that some of the responses on reddit are a bit too harsh for cheaters. like, everyone makes mistakes, right? sometimes relationships are complicated, and maybe there's more to the story than meets the eye. curious to hear what others think!

I despise simp stories. But this isn't one of them . She f-ed up once, didnt bend to the blackmail. And really would have done anything to make him happy afterward. She also took away the reasons she f-ed up so she never would do it again... She deserved conciliation.
Simping for me is being a doormat or staying by someone who had an affair or cheated more than once, and then not leaving or divorce.

    • @THE-michaelmyers
      @THE-michaelmyers 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

No not a simp, but also in my opinion not handling it correctly. Cheating is NOT a single event. It is the last link in a series of events that lead up to it. People (this applies to males too) like this wife are broken. Going forward all it takes is the right set of events to happen and odds are she WILL cheat again. It is almost like alcoholism. They can't help it. I know people are going to not like my comment, but it is based on close to 30 years of watching couples go through this. Couples have reconciled, but successful reconciliations are VERY rare!
