What most fans that have kept up with _everyone's_ Spacecraft craziness believe is that she only left to follow Yuki Kajiura (who also left Spacecraft, there were apparently issues with her style of composition) as her just leaving to leave is . . . illogical, ya know? Unlike Kaori or Yuriko Kaida, Keiko has literally only sung for Yuki Kajiura and no other composer, for around 15 years. Spacecraft said that Kalafina would still continue with Hikaru and Wakana. Personally I'm sure they haven't left yet only because leaving at this point would fuck their money up (as it will to Keiko, who voluntarily cut her contract early and likely has no insurance right now). No one should be worried, though, because even before Kalafina was four or three singers, it was officially two with Keiko and Wakana (that's how Oblivious was made, and Hanae Tomaru was singing background). Thus, I'm sure Hikaru and Wakana can actually produce good work -- the question is with who will be producing it. I also won't be very surprised if Spacecraft pulls out another contest as they did for Hikaru and Maya. Although, it *might not* be under the Kalafina brand, as another thing Keiko did in the process of her decision is apply for ownership of the Kalafina trademark. This is personally another thing that pushes me to believe that she will be continuing work with Kajiura.
@Isa Maryna Unfortunately, Hikaru’s departure and new Twitter account becoming so public will likely stay the newest news we fans will get for November. I don’t think these little upcoming FJStation events (canta-per-me.net/2018/11/aimer-16th-single-with-fsn-hf-part-2-lost-butterfly-theme-song-fjstation-talk-events/ ) would be the place for similar big news. My personal biggest concern is that my (and many other fans’) assumptions that Hikaru and Wakana will follow Keiko in following Yuki Kajiura is becoming smaller. Wakana’s hopped onto this solo tour business, and I remember her personal dream is actually to be an opera singer, and Hikaru has such an _extremely_ talented and wide range that she could work under anyone, and so is basically completely up to her and herself regarding musical work. I’m a groups/choirs person and am certainly worried that I won’t be hearing Wakana or especially Hikaru in the sounds of Yuki Kajiura work.
She's trying her best; you can see the struggle to hit those high notes, especially the C5 during those few ascending notes taken Keiko harmonizing and even the elongated B4 at 1:11 (camera was on her face, you can look at her neck and face). I suspect there would be some mastering done on the vocals before this final release, as usual.

I thought this was the most perfect combination for Kalafina, but why are the three of them currently pursuing solo careers and not together again😢, could it be egocentric?
There were some rumors and theories about why they disbanded, some of them said Kajiura had a preference for Keiko over Hikaru and Wakana, but since they will have a reunion and decided to return as a group again next year there's another rumor that said there were problems between Kajiura and Kalafina's agency. Kajiura was their composer but she departed from the agency years ago and after that they made the decision to disband and with all those problems Kalafina decided to return under the same agency but Kajiura won't be participating in that project and if they decided to make new music it won't be her compositions.
