Just WOW. This brought me back to a place I thought I could never go again. I’m right in front of my grandpa’s house in the tuscanian countryside, having a run with his dog or killing some time playing cards with my grandma, while she’s getting the salad ready for our lunch. Then, suddenly my older brother calls me in the house, so I run and see him with our brand new Nintendo GameCube’s controller in his hands. I already know we’re going to have lots of fun exploring a bunch of islands on Wind Waker. This made my heart beat a little bit faster, so thank you, I really mean it.
I don't know how to express how this took me back in time to childhood with my brother, but it brought a tear to my eye. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Wow!! I love medleys! Especially when they're done so well! Song choice, tempo, transitions... It just flowed like a winding river. Steady at first... then through the rapids... and ending up reaching that beautiful lake where the waters are calm and the scenery is pristine... peaceful. I have good monitors but decided to listen through my mixing headphones because the sound is truer and more natural. Your guitars sound gloriously clear and the percussion on the Kepma was awesome. The cinematography took me to some wonderful places! I enjoy picking apart the music because every note has a voice that becomes the vocabulary of the song. You two make incredible music together! What a treat!! As always... Thanks for sharing your talents!
I’m really glad you like it Don! We put a lot of thought and work into this arrangement. Collin is a pure you to work and play with especially because we are very similar in our way of thinking, arranging and recording.
This was one of the most amazing medley experiences I've ever enjoyed. The end was so nostalgic, I had goosebumps everywhere and almost shed a tear. I thought your Skyward Sword Medley was great, but this was just incredible!
Awesome video work and neat tunes! Love that first one even though I'm not familiar with Zelda, just love the celtic 6/8 jiggy reel feel.. whatever it is.. Very cool!
