They can not be together again. They knew from the beginning that they would only be together for only a year. Each has a contract with a different company, they should first break their pre-existing contracts. In addition to the economic interests of each company, you have to think that there should be a company willing to take care of them, for example the CEO of JYP showed a lot of interest in them. Another drawback is that some want to be solo singers and maybe they no longer need to be a part of IOI. The same will happen with Wanna One, it is known to be for a year. I agree so much, one thing I don't understand is the contract, it saying they'll be promoting for 1 year, but in reality only 9 months, us fans didn't even have a fandom name. Even some members have to absent to debut in their own gg(gugudan,wjsn) at that time

Things that hurt me the most about this 1. what landed Yeonjung in IOI and kept her popular in P101 was always her vocal power and technical skill, and conveying emotion with her voice always took a backseat to just being really good in a more obvious and measurable sense, so I almost never saw her expressing much emotion when she sings. she's probably been actively trained NOT to do it because people don't think of her as the perfect supermodel beauty standard and letting her face contort more than it needs to could turn audiences away; I think you especially see that kind of harsh practical philosophy in SM trainees... so here when she's really emoting when she sings, I really think that's all natural and irrepressible, she almost never does that otherwise. especially when her voice breaks and crescents off at the end of that one super extended note... :( 2. on a similar note Sejeong is so close to crying throughout the whole performance and she's NOT a crier... like on P101 i don't remember her ever crying until the absolute end when she was in top 2 with Somi and even then it took like 10 minutes of manufactured suspense for her to break, and only for a second before she put her smile back on again. but her eyes are wet here almost the whole time idk it's all just such real emotion... they really deserved to be a forever group, they all loved each other that much. AGH
