The pasta is such a nice touch. Dry cereal instead of breakfast cereal. Books on the shelf instead of movies. Pictures of horses instead of cars. Bizarro Superman figurine instead of Superman. A PC on the desk instead of Jerry’s Mac, even the unicycle replacing the bike. Well done, set designers!
There are so many more episodes before season 8 that are great. the pez dispenser, the parking spot, the limo ride, the movie theater one, the one with Keith Hernandez, Kramer goes to California, any episode with the parents or Florida, any episode with the Pilot, the lip reader, the non-fat yogurt, the cigar store Indian, any episode with Mickey, any episode with the tennis matches, any Elaine with Mr. Pitt or Jay Peterman episode, the Jon Voight convertible, the Marathon runner, any one with Kramer and Jackie Chiles, and many more.
My favorite episodes are in the early seasons, well, actually the middle seasons, if I were to rank the seasons from best to worst it'd be: Season 5, Season 4, Season 3, Season 6, Season 2, Season 7, Season 8, Season 1, Season 9
Bizarro Jerry apartment details: Aside from everything swapping sides, there's a unicycle hanging in the back instead of a bicycle. A statue of Bizarro instead of Superman. Books on the back shelf instead of video tapes. And something nearly everyone misses: instead of boxes of cereal in the kitchen, he has containers of pasta. Plus, in the last scene, the Seinfeld music is played in reverse.
Around that time, they were doing clubs and raves in the meat packing district of NYC. So the joke is that it's a meat packing place by day, secret club at night. Great reaction to one of the better episodes of the last two seasons. The Little Kicks is definitely one of the best of the last two seasons, don't miss that one. And I"m sad you're ending them! There are still lots of classics to hit! Did we do The Big Salad? The Face Painter? The 5th season alone has a bunch more great ones. The one with Marissa Tomei! etc.
I'm so sad, that you are doing just a few episode of the whole series 🥺🥺☹ you both looks to enjoy it so much, I think you should do all episodes, I would be the first to watch your reacions 🥰
The Soul Mate, The Frogger, The Foundation, The Van Buren Boys, The Gum, The Beard, The Alternate Side, The Parking Spot, The Raincoats part 1 & 2, The Trip Part 1 & 2, The Burning, The Boyfriend Part 1 & 2. The Chicken Roaster, The Bottle Deposit, The Non-Fat Yogurt. Etc etc
If your going to stop please do little kicks I love all of Seinfeld but that episode is just too good not to be seen. Also sidebar me and Jerry have the same bday and in the episode “the pen” Jerry is wearing the same shirt I took my third grade yearbook picture in 😂
You can't ditch Seinfeld without hitting THE KEYS, THE TRIP (pt. 1) and THE TRIP (pt.2) - in that order (when they go to Hollywood)! LITTLE KICKS, and all the episodes with Jay Peterman (and Mr. Pitt, too) are necessary.
Season 8 is the first season after co-creator Larry David left the show. That's why it feels different. Seasons 8 and 9 are noticeably more cartoony than the previous seasons.
The change after larry left was why i always believed that Jerry Seinfeld gets a little too much credit for the show. Its bears his name but much of what made the show iconic came from Larry David. The real kramer was his neighbor and many of most memorable stories, like “master of domain” and half the stuff george did came from actual events in his real life. Plus Curb Your Enthusiasm shares the same sensibilities while none of Jerry’s work (before or after) does.
If you are close to seeing the finale, you should ensure you see more chapters than you have, there are multiple characters that appear on the finale, that, if you do not see other chapters, it will fly by... For example, Jacky Chiles, Babu, the low talker, the girl with the used wheelchair, also getting to know the Ross' (Susan's parents) a bit more, the library police, Kramer and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat, Little Jerry (The cock), Mr. Pitt, Popi... And even watching the pilot, the last scene has a direct reference to the pilot....
Well if yall are bummed about reaching the end of Seinfeld, haven't you only done like 20 or so episodes? You still have tons left to go back to if you felt like it. I don't think anyone here would object.
Its crazy that jerry cannot fully admit that he needs elaine, kramer and george. Throughout the whole show, he mainly wishes that he could get rid of them but in this episode, when everyone is busy, he is annoyed and lonely
When exactly is he trying to get rid of them? He's shallow and unsupportive, but I don't think I've ever gotten the vibe he doesn't enjoy his friends. He and Elaine have even had a few plot points about maintaining their friendship despite the past relationship.
I always loved the "man hands" story in this lol...... reaction suggestion.. : Everybody Loves Raymond.. to me it is one of the most funny shows ever. I so enjoy your content, thank you!!
I just finished watch 5 of your episodes I’ve already seen before (so 2nd viewing) Then just as I wish I could see a new one, there it was! Thanks guys, I had a sad day today and your videos help me big time! ❤
Season 3 episode 7 "The Cafe" to introduce Babu *is also the episode when George takes the IQ test. But every episode in 8&9 is worth watching... Still waiting on J Peterman
As a "grown up" this is the only show or picture that I can watch again and again, like when me & my ex sister were kids and would watch the same picture every day.
They kind of missed the point of the Bizarro versions, which is that they're not good people really. Jerry might not give money to the homeless, or read, but he also doesn't care if his friends eat his food without asking.
I think "would've preferred she ask first" isn't quite proving "not good people" haha. But yeah there's a certain unsettling, uptight, holier-than-thou vibe.
@@jerodast Yeah, I mean, not that alone, it's everything together. Definitely unsettling and creepy, plus they immediately reject Elaine when she accidentally pushes Kevin over.
I wonder if Kevin’s furniture is Karl Farbman-like.
The writing is different because Larry David left the show. However, I’ve always liked seasons 8 and 9 the most, with the exception of the series finale, which ironically, Larry David returned to help write. It was his idea to punish the characters in a ‘courtroom drama.’ That ending was a complete misread of the characters and how America thought of them. Yes, they are technically terrible people, but in my case, I never spent a minute dwelling on their moral failures, because the episodes were so entertaining. Incarceration was a very odd story choice. It almost felt like they were making you feel bad for loving them so much. 🤷
The reason The feeling of the show changed was that Larry David left the show(co-creator). Seinfeld was now the show runner by himself at the top-sure producers helped but this was Seinfeld’ show.
The difference in the later seasons is simple Larry David was concerned about the dip in quality in the series…so NBC told him after season seven if that was the case he should leave and David did….so David decided to start a new sitcom in 2000 on HBO which was called Curb Your Enthusiasm it lasted for 24 years ending earlier this year after his 12th season on Curb….
The different feeling : Larry David left the show at the end of season 7. Jerry became executive producer. He wanted to do one more season (8), but at the end of that season he said he felt he had to do one more for the fans (9).
This episode was done in direct response to the Season 7 ending where Susan died. There was (some) blowback from fans that thought that episode was too callous. They made this episode to show how boring the characters would be if the were nice.

I wondered which of you would realize Fargus was the Bizarro Newman. 🤣
After the seventh season Larry David left and he didn't write for it and then he came back for the last season
Cobra Kai Season 6
Pt 2 is out
PLEASE PLEASE watch the Backwards episode
I hope your next show is CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, which is even better than Seinfeld...Larry David the genius.
I love how Kevin's apartment is a mirror image of Jerry's apartment, complete with a pasta shelf, a unicycle, and a Bizarro Superman statue. Bad bye!
Bad hi?
The pasta is such a nice touch. Dry cereal instead of breakfast cereal.

The Boyfriend! I forgot about those
All the J. Peterman episodes which started in season 7.
I love the California SL!!
I would watch you guys watch every episode of Seinfeld, not just the top recs!
I can’t understand why the early seasons were skipped over so badly. So many classic episodes.
My favorite episodes are in the early seasons, well, actually the middle seasons, if I were to rank the seasons from best to worst it'd be: Season 5, Season 4, Season 3, Season 6, Season 2, Season 7, Season 8, Season 1, Season 9
You should watch: The Limo. One of my favorites from all seasons!
MAN HANDS!!!! YES!!! That's the best part of this episode by far. 🤣
This watch order is as chaotic as the Seinfeld 😂
Yes, The Little Kicks is next. CLASSIC

perfect analysis

I think the next show needs to be " third rock from the sun"😂😂😂
One of the more obvious references to Superman in Seinfeld

Exactly
@@Frank_E_Scialdone Yup, Tis what I was gonna say.
There were a lot of hit and misses in these last two seasons. This one was a hit.

I love man hands, close talker, low talker lmao
High talker as well.
Please watch the episode with Bookman, the Library Investigator. My favorite guest ever on the show!
You should watch every episode that the finale references if you haven't already. Someone with more knowledge than myself could get you a list!
Episodes I'm still hoping for: “The Abstinence”, "The Wig Master", "The Library".
The Caddy is a must watch! A top 3 in my opinion.
"The Bra-Less O'Henry Candy-Bar Heiress" Now try to say that quickly! 🙂
@sirjohnmara lol
Curb your enthusiasm is my guess🙏🏽
Hopefully!
hope so
Yep, season 8 is when Larry David left Seinfeld.
Same
and in curb we even get a seinfeld reunion
Another brilliant storyline. Although it might seem not real or exaggerated, it makes it great and they are using everything they can. Amazing writing
Summer of George !
I hope it’s not too late but a good episode I thought and enjoyed was “The Handicapped Spot” Season 4 Episode 22
The Little Kicks
The Gum
The Chicken Roaster
I recommend news radio. It had Phil Hartman, Stephen root, joe rogan
Season 8 MANDATORY episodes: The Susie ; The Comeback.
"The Pothole" as well...
I really appreciate Seinfeld the older I become
