    A real treat as usual, but I recommend experiencing Nili live. Had the privilege to attend her album release gig at The Baked Potato in Los Angeles and her band is amazing. Keep an eye out for their future concerts.

    Just enjoy the music ...appreciate the effort of the artist....support music!!!...why make discriminating comments about anyone!!! ...If you do discriminate, then you have missed the entire point of the song.

    • @endezeichengrimm

      And if you think that will happen, you missed the whole point of youtube.

    FYI I was talking with Nili and she informed me that the one and only Stu Hamm "bassist for Joe Satraini and close friend of Steve Vai" played bass on The Spring Tune. And in my humble opinion one of, if not the best bass players of all time. Nili is one of my favorite guitarist that has a great sense of humor and one of the most genuine people in the music business...

    Very good. Some catchy and well thought melodies and I especially like the modes she uses, that changes of what we usually listen to in metal/guitar heroes genre.

    WOW!!! Nili is ridiculously great. I've semi been aware of her for a few years but never listened to her play till yesterday. I'm totally kicking myself for missing out all these years. Nili is a beast (in a good way). McAlpine should be her backup player lol. I have a new top 5 fav.

      I don't know about that. Mind you I'm a huge Tony MacApline fan and if it wasn't for him I never would have become a fan of Nili's. She's got a rare talent in her voicing. It's real shame very few people other than musicians get to hear her phenomenal command of the instrument.

    I'm not an elitist, so I actually like the melodies .....this song was well arranged. An intelligent piece of music.

    • @GuitarGodsUnite
      @GuitarGodsUnite 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you know the theory behind the chorus? It sounds so cool

    • @ThomasFarrow
      @ThomasFarrow 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      GuitarGodsUnite not really much into theory, myself...but I know Nili isn't just blindly following the root notes around with her leads. ...I wish I knew more...I wish my guitar worked properly too...lol!

    • @dallasmamat1799
      @dallasmamat1799 9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +GuitarGodsUnite Forget the theory..Well,I mean,we need to know theory and related stuff etc..But,when we write songs/compose harmonies/melodies,we normally put theory aside..and just play whatever we feel are the right notes for the tunes,as always stated by Satriani and others too.

    • @ThomasFarrow
      @ThomasFarrow 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just play what I know....I'm happy being average lol!

    • @dallasmamat1799
      @dallasmamat1799 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most important is,write/compose songs that are good or even great..with memorable riffs,cool harmonies and nice melodies that will get embedded in the listeners' ears and heads..songs that can last forever\m/

      ..if you observe this vid,around 2:28,there's abit of jazz/fusion stuff..clearly due to Tony MacAlpine's influence..MacAlpine back in his old days was more towards neoclassical rock guitar..nowadays he's very much leans towards fusion/jazz yet still retaining that neoclassical touch in his playing.
