That's definitely a nice look Kenworth. It's funny I was actually reading up on the history of Kenworth and Peterbilt the other day and it seems that they are both owned by Paccar

Tip for people using Logitech or other brand steering wheels with shifters. Most drivers "split" gears. That means instead of going 1-2-3-4. They go 3-5-9. With that many gears you can skip two or three gears at lower speeds. They also skip two or three when hitting hills to get the engine at max power so it can take the hill without losing speed. If you use real automatic and set it to adaptive (in game) you see the game doing this. But if one likes shifting it through every gear, that is fine as well.
Excalibur Publishing (they publish physical copies of SCS games) has said the release date for ATS is 20th of Feb. They have also been working on ATS since 2011.
Nice video friend, next time you come in France, we should have a coffee together, i am near Lyon ahahahahahahh. The bip bip is when you drove too much time (replaces yawn sound) it sounds like this on our electronics driver card system. ;)

Kenworth, just trucking gorgeous...
My dad owns a 1996 Peterbilt 379 with a 550 hp CAT and an Eaton Fuller 13 speed, and a 48 ft spread axle reefer. I rode with him a few times and when he takes off from a red light he is shifting like crazy

Truck drivers skips gears. They will only use all gears if they are needed. Low gears for high momentum and high motorbrake rate on down hill. Try to start in 3rd or 5th gear and you'll see that is not a problem for a high powered truck as the T800. And of cause skip one or two gear when up shift and downshifting.
Jamin, the continuos beeping comes with the kenworth, it's informing you of the need to rest

Yea, a lot of comp's are going to autos. However, a lot of comp's also use the EatonFuller 10 speed with Detroit engines.
Should have double clutched with the rev in neutral when going down the gears. Would have been a lot better :)

Do you use any external recording device or just common software(action,fraps)?
Gameplay HD I use Action and DxTory!
Jamin000 I also use Action! when i do not record i get 80-120 fps but when i record goes down to 40-45 interior and 55-60 exterior...even if i select 120fps in Action! software...only happens with ets2!
Jamin000 How many fps do you get while recording?do you notice a major increase from 32 bits?(i know you said it is way smoother)

How do you do 18 speeds on this truck when it has L and LL? I use a g27 shifter and I cannot figure it out
Tanner69046 L and LL are still considered gears which gives you a total of '18' working gears :)

Jamin000 I have a couple questions. 1) have u heard anything about the police system in ATS? 2) what program did u use to edit the paint scheme of your trucks? 3) understanding patience when roughly does the Scandinavian DLC get released spring or later in the year? Finally ATS release this year or next? I know the last two are guesses but I need to bug etc my disability check so I can pay bills and be able to afford these games. (No I will not take hand outs)

Hi guys ,Ive downloaded the Brutal HD Enviorment mod but am having a problem. I'm using win zip. Is extracting with file folders and not scs files. Any suggestions.

Buddy you have to sleep gears.. You go into every gear.. Usually u start in 2nd and go 4th 6th 8th 10th. And so on... U only use 1st gear if your truck can't go up huge hills

Nice video and that truck mod is great :) i been using it alot. The Brutal HD Enviroment makes it looks bad, sorry, but, thats just my opinion. It gives the game to much "color" on.

hi! my name is Darnell, i love your videos and i have ets2, with a Logitech g27, and my question is how do i better my steering and throttle response it seems like everything i do it is a second behind what causes that? i want it in real time instead of having lag response.

You don't have to go up every gear, start in 3rd and jump 2 at a time
StewysGameplay i do that in most cases but I enjoyed using all the gears in this truck for some reason! LOL
