So many things to love about this boat. Like any other boat, nothing is exactly as you want it but you get used to the things that aren’t. For example, I live in a 180-year-old house and a lot of things creek and squeak, but it’s part of the character, just like the creaking on a boat.
Nice! Creaky, squeaky noises would annoy at 500k though. Like the whole living aboard scenario, gives a truer impression of what ownership might be like rather than the quick, glitzy whistle stop tour. Great video.
If that boat creaks that much when it's brand new I can only imagine how bad it would be in 10 or 20 years. Admittedly I don't have much experience with bigger boats to compared to but that would drive me nuts.
Better but more expensive. I don't know a boat made of fiber polyester that doesn't creak. Maybe a cargo boat or ferry boat or transatlantic boat, but I'm not sure. You can buy a boat with a hull made of aluminum, but the price is nice for a boat ride of few days per year.
You mention the creaking deck in the saloon and cabins; it shows that the boat has been built down to a price rather than up to a standard. Still, you get a lot of boat for your money, so if this doesn't bother a buyer (though it would me) it's not an issue.
Thanks for taking time to make this video. Happy that they plan to eliminate the sqeeking. Also hope they address the issue with the table and seat as you mentioned. Otherwise a cool boat.
For me, it would be a quality trawler, about 40 ft. and I'd spend my summers cruising the beautiful Trent/Severn waterway in Ontario, Canada. From Picton on Lake Ontario, you can travel hundreds of miles through many scenic lakes, rivers and numerous locks (including the fabulous Peterborough Lift Locks...check them out on You Tube) to Georgian Bay and beyond to Manitoulin Island. There are plenty of marinas along the way to get fuel and supplies PLUS waterfront restaurants, motels and campgrounds. A nice bonus is that you can do "side trips" into several small lakes. A tip...July & early August are busy on the system and wait times at locks can be lengthy. Detailed charts are available. I believe locks are open from Canadian May 24th weekend until Thanksgiving in October. I made the trip several years ago in early September and it was amazing. Something to consider for YOUR bucket list!!
Love trawler yachts they can be fancy with all glass, metal and fancy mid cons, or just an honest looking boat like this one, she feels a very adaptable boat. Like the separate toilet and shower works better for a boat full of people. The marina looks so peaceful when you all wake up, the calm before the day starts. An ambling boat mainly but she can shift faster if needs be. A great trawler boat that does what it says on the boat tin.
This is a really clever concept. Instead of these quick walk throughs shows how a boat can actually be used in a leisure scenario. Rolls around a bit and think a seakeeper would help a lot. Great boat for the money and like the range of 800nM at 6 knots you could really travel around at your leisure on this boat and have a lot of fun
Great boat. Just ha demo ride on Gulf of Mexico. Very modern and comfortable. Loved the open light arrangement. Great setup on fb. I am going to order one.

This review and test seemed like Beneteau was paying you guys to say good things. This looks and sounds (from the creaking) like a very low quality boat, but there was not many comments on it.
