    What pound or kg weight values do you recommend to buy for the skate exercise ?

    Could these be modified for home use? I don't have regular access to a lift machine but would like to try this otherwise great workout. I appreciate how much is doable just with yourself and a mat.

      I've been doing it with resistance bands, work great, they are 20 something dollars at Amazon.

      @@clareroth7485 they come with a thingy that you put in the door when you close it and that holds the band.

    What is the book grab exercise for?

      Grip strength I suspect although new paddlers tend to grip the paddle too tight especially in rough conditions. Loose grip is best.
