Congratulations on your finish - it looks great!! I can't cut a straight line to save my life so I have to get my husband to do it for me. 😂 He also does most of my framing for me for the same reason. One trick that we do so that the glass still fits is to mount the piece directly to the frame backing or mount it to very thin cardboard and then put it in the frame. Your daughter and granddaughter are going to love it!! 😊
It looks absolutely beautiful. Well done! I recently framed one of my projects and, like you, couldn’t fit the glass on. I just give it a dust every few weeks.
You can buy a handheld mat cutter for $10-$15 US. A good metal straight edge would help as well. I frame all my own pieces and that mat cutter is invaluable. It’s still a lovely piece!
It looks adorable. She will love it for many years to come.
Job well done. Thanks for sharing your process.
Thanks so much! 😊

Thank you lovely 💕
That was not a fail. Great job. I love it.
Thank you lovely 💕
Not a fail, it looks lovely 😍😍😍
Thank you 😊
Yeah it looks good. I don’t put glass on mine and I read somewhere to just go over it with the hover hose to get the dust off.
Yeah i think I will tell her to use a soft hoover attachment or a lint brush x
It's not a fail. It's perfect. You can see the pretty material now.
That's a great way of looking at it 😊 at least I've learned alot for next time too
Love the end result
Thank you 😊
Love! You did an amazing job!
Thank you so much!

Yeah I think I'm going to have to tell her to give it a dust. I actually don't mind the glass not being there 😊
Quite and adventure but it turned out great!
Thank you 😊
I love it ❤
Thank you 😊 💕

I definitely need to look into them for next time thank you 😊
I’d be happy if I did that!
Aw thank you 😊 I'm happy with the overall result and my daughter liked it so that's all that matters 💓
It’s beautiful! Did you look into thin Perspex to protect the picture? X
I didn't but that's a very good idea 😊
I know it’s probably too late, but don’t use the mount, you will then get to see more of the fabric. x
