Josh, a lovely looking cabin here! I was surprised that I found my Symphony cabin to be quite dated in comparison to newer ships from other cruise lines, so it's really nice to see that it's all so modern and fresh on ICON - thanks for sharing!

@motomfthug8551 Not that I could figure out. I tried to pull it out and it didn't budge. I think this cabin is only a double or MAYBE a triple (for a small child to sleep on the sofa). Thank you for watching

To be honest the room is no great shakes, standard balcony cabin. The bathroom is impressive with larger shower, outlet, storage.

We’re booked in a Jr suite next November but, we had a regular balcony cabin on Wonder last year and I think that cabin was designed much better. The hanging closet was placed on both sides of the bed, allowing my husband to have his own closet which was great when getting dressed for dinner. We never had to wait our turn to get something. I also think the room is narrower as is the balcony.
Considering this ship is bigger, I expected some of that real estate to go toward a larger room. Not really impressed.
It's a standard size balcony cabin.. no smaller. Thank you for watching.

I wish the lamps by the bed were mounted to the wall as opposed to on the nightstand. That's valuable real estate that could be used for phones/tablets and other bedside items.

With that cabin being close to the elevators, did you notice any excessive noise from the hallway and elevators dinging?
None, surprisingly. No more than the normal occasional louder person. Nothing in the evenings though I do use a white noise maker when sleeping. Never heard an elevator ding.

ok we are a family of 4. they might configure it to the one where it pulls out. our room is 12650, just close by your room! not sailing till 3/2025. i have two teeanagers (13 y/o)

You'd think they would make the cabins a little bigger, being such a large ship, but they wasted space with all the open areas as usual.

Nobody goes on this cruise to stay in their rooms. If you do this you are doing it wrong
You get what you pay for. For an basic balcony room this is fantastic space. They have suites if you want larger.
This is actually slightly larger than the standard balcony rooms on the Oasis class. But yeah there’s definitely room for improvement imo

Over 2 grand for a interior room is absurd I have never seen prices like this people are literally going into debt to go on this boat it’s ridiculous and Royal should be ashamed and that goes with all boats and there prices right now I literally went on harmony last year family of 4 balcony room for under 3 grand
